I'm addicted to a new online text game (I hope this is still allowable (in Off-topic)

I was given a link by a buddy of mine to an online text game. I was bored enough to try it out. I'm hooked!

You basically run your own company. You hire soldiers, engineers, workers, etc, and then attack other companies to steal their money and get experience points for your soldiers. You upgrade the soldiers weapons, and the cycle goes on and on :)

I hope posting links like this is still allowed here. Here is the link. Yes, it does give me a little bonus of money and oil (both important to the game), so I'd appreciate you signing up :)

Well Todd, if you wanted people to play souly to give you an advantage perhaps you should of put this in FS/WTB? =P Even when you don't play you get an unfair advantage!

Well there is no New User Bonus. So therefore no way for me to get to the top. So I guess there is no reason for me to play the game.

i left clicked and it said it couldnt be found, so i right clicked and selected open in new window and it opened....strange....

If we get enough, yeah, we should make a clan.

The game is still getting worked on, with new features being added of the time. I think it launched only a month or 2 ago, but I'm not sure. SO, getting in now will be an advantage.

The idea is to slow down on the spam created by "click to give me referral points" threads. Threads created to discuss and inform the community about games are still perfectly ok as far as I'm aware.

Not new games just this one.

This game I linked is a very cool game. But, just like CB, it offers a small bonus to the person who provides referrals by linking.

I can understand "Click this link to give me a bonus" being a major irritant, since those sometimes do not offer a link to a new game, but just a simple indexing count of some sort.

When you offer a link to a new game, it seems that is fine.. unless the referrer gets a bonus? Seems we've never been afraid of this on CB before.

It's the frequency of those links here in forum that's annoying Jon.

And Todd, if the game is so great, why not just mention it in Chat, a post, or even submit it as a BA burner on the "Out of BA" page? I think it is pretty clear that Jonathan has no problem with other games when looking at the "Out of BA" page.

I guess I just have never understood the whole "click here so I get some extra 'oomph' from this. Just mentioning a game name is enough these days, with Google and all. Do you really need the extra game materials? Working on an "I Win" over there?
