Great achievement though, though many of us do claim the NUB is overpowered, unfair etc. It still does take a determined and fairly cluey player to really climb the ranks with or without a NUB. Good Work I<3Kitty.

CT would have a great point assuming everyone had a chance at the NUB.

Everyone has a chance at USD, at least in theory.

Also, there is no real substitute for MPR. MPR is power in cb2. Yes, you can use CB2 to catch up, but it can only help so much. Part of the reason I have one of the top 2 scores is not as much my NW but my MPR.

I can drop my MPR by 40 million possibly 60 million and still beat my whole fightlist.

Sometimes I have the urge to just delete every spiteful, hateful, or manipulative post I can find. Then I realize that would just take up too much of my life. I wouldn't be done for a month and even still you people would have more work for me to do by then.

Some people simply want to exploit one person's success just so they can prove a point. I have a feeling that only a few people, such as Almuric and myself, actually want to see people succeed. I'm sick of congratulatory comments followed by, "see what I mean!"

Some people just want to use you kitty, others just want to help. It may take you a while to realize who they are, but in any case, good luck. Most of all though, I hope your still having fun.

Don't worry, I wasn't trying to say anything negative or positive about anyone's post. I just wanted to see if Ranger would gimme all his money to test a theory. ;)

As of 1030 PM today 9/26/05:

Score / PR / MPR: 995,121 / 755,709 / 517,870

Thats a 13k MPR growth in 36 hours. Compare that to my growth of 4k in that time frame.

So much for the thought that growth slows down as one gets to the higher MPR ranks.

Ranger, the information you just presented does not disprove the theory that MPR growth slows down as you get higher in the ranks. It infact suggests quite the opposite.

I'm guessing Ilovehellokitty's NUB is similar to mine, meaning she gets about a 2.3x bonus to rewards - this means that her MPR should be increasing 2.3x faster than yours, assuming you both fought the same amount of battles in that period.

The fact that her MPR is increasing at over 3x your rate suggests that indeed it is more difficult to gain MPR at the top (or that she fought alot more battles than you over this period).

If you really wanted to to compare her MPR growth rate to yours you would have calculated the number of battles fought over that period and worked out your rates of MPR growth per battle fought.

Why yes, I certainly am looking at the clan standings for the week, month, and year.

Kitty, It'll probably get a little slower for you. Until you hit the Top Ten. They get an exemption from penalties of fighting low, so when you hit the tenth spot, your rewards should pick up again.

Score / PR / MPR: 933,612 / 725,813 / 504,490 on Sept 25th so growth of 183k MPR in 17 days. Not much of a slowdown IMO.

If anyone still thinks in the 2 months 3 days left of her NUB she will not reach 1 million MPR, your in dreamland.

And she is 4k away from becoming 10th highest and getting the top 10 exemption from lower battle rewards.

As far as I know the exemption is top 10 score, updated hourly.

Kitty is slowing down, look at her MPR graph there is definitely a curve there. She will probably just make 1M PR assuming the NUB doesn't get nerfed but I highly doubt she will pass Ranger in MPR.

Maybe she's saving exp ? Maybe she retrained something ? I don't see any reason at all of why she's slowing down right now. Because at this point, I'm still getting as much MPR as usual.

TrueDevil - in short the reason her MPR growth is slowing down is that is is much easier to gain MPR at lower PR levels because you can "fight up" more and get better rewards.

Characters near the top who were created on Jan 1 or similar early dates will have been near the top for the entire 9 months of CB2's existence so will have never had the opportunity to fight up and get higher rewards - hence the almost linear graphs for teams like The Apocalypse Book, Bartlett and yourself, and the more curved graphs for teams like Bunker and ILoveYou

Oh and WAB, for Ilovehellokitty no reach only 800k-850k by the end of her NUB her MPR will actually have to grow slower than Rangers does (since he makes about 100k MPR a month), so at a minimum, assuming she fights as much as Ranger her MPR will be around 700k + (200k*NUB bonus) or 1.2M.

Now I think about it maybe she will pass Rangers MPR.
