Sudden MPR drop (in General)

Nightmare [NewNightmares] November 9 2005 10:08 AM EST

Retrained a 3k bloodlust into a 3k VA on Joshua, and I thought my MPR only dropped by 1k or so... logged on this morning to find it had dropped ~10k. Anyone have any idea why?

VA is less effective than Bloodlust, so the game automaticly considers your character weaker.

I'm just kidding, but that's the best explanation I can come up with :)

Maybe this?

Either you misread yesterday, or something else is going on...

Shade, I'm positive on my approximate previous MPR. The only reason I noticed was because of my max tattoo size. It dropped from 60k+ to 48k. My History Graph even shows the sudden drop in MPR, but untraining 25k xp then retraining 20k of it back into another stat should not account for such a drop. None of my stats or skills have dropped in level, either. So, I'm stumped.

Jonathan has commented offhand (I am not sure where, but was told by a very reliable source that he mentioned it), that the MPR drop issues was under investigation. Just no news yet.

And since your stats are the same with lower PR, now you can beat higher people with a lower PR and get better rewards. *smile* My guess is that your previous MPR was inflated (for whatever reason), and is now correct, though that is impossible to know for sure without Jonathan telling us every intricacy of how MPR is calculated (a seemingly complex process).

Yes, but the affect of my ToA is dropped considerably. So, it is a bigger problem for ToA tanks than with other tats.

Aw, poor ToA wearers. *smile*
