Well, if the XP reward you posted was an example of a high end reward for you Johnny, it looks like my BA costs are about 2.38 times more than you, but I get about 2.3 times more XP.

right now my high is 154 each for 2 minions with a 12.4% clan bonus, but most half the time i don't break 100

I got 235 exp each on my 4 minion team with a clan bonus of 15% and no RoE.

940 exp total. I am not sure if that was the highest but it was one that caught my eye. =)

the RoE can't compete with the added rewards of being able to fight higher with a well setup team...not by a long shot.

Thats a point of great debate.

At the lower levels, even with a ROE, you should be able to fight high enough to get maximum rewards due to all the farm characters out there and inactive characters as well. A well designed team should be able to cherry pick high score opponents they match up well against for a while at least.

However, there will come a point when a ROE will hold you back. And as you say, using one will in fact hold you back from fighting as high up as you should with a decent tattoo/familiar.

IMO, one can use a ROE well in the beginning, then buy a tattoo/familiar near their MTL and do very well, maximizing xp gain from the beginning to the end.

Also, there will come a piont where you can no longer fight up effectively, then the RoE takes back over again.

875 was without the RoE, in effect I gained 1,077 XP from that fight alone.
