What would you do if you have "I Love You"? (in Off-topic)

since I don't know what I can do with "I Love You", put yourself in my place and see what's the future of I Love You can be. Go wild on the thoughts. Let the imagination runs to no end. :P (don't say :i will put $2000 into it if you really can't. ) Be realistic as you can.

Well if I owed your character I would try to build your Morgul x up ^^ So I could be the top overall.

Money: $328,025 If you have only this much..it's going to be tough. This is not about me. It's really about what can you do to your character if you own "I Love You."

I would hold the CB equivalent of a viking funeral.

I would buy some ammo, so that your ranged weapons have something to shoot :p

Just some more information, I lost to only 4 players (characters). If you have I Love You, ...you would......:P

If I'd have "I Love You" i would make peace to the world!

If I had the character "I Love You", I would retire it so that it would stop copying Ranger's strat. There can be only one! :P

seriously:

if i would own that character, i would try and upgrade the assassin's crossbow first to dominate any tank based character, and after that start upgrading a cornuthaum or buying one.

Also i would give the 3rd minion, wearing only a ranged weapon, some ammo so that that minion is useful to an extent also.

and last but not least, i would upgrade the morgul hammer some more also to do more damage to puny mages.

Ok, if I were in your shoes. What would I do?

I'd take one glance at the highest scores list, see The Appocalypse Book up the top and decide that I'm going to beat that char.
Once my character is beating that char, it's in much better shape than it is right now, even if there are one or two chars that I still can't beat.
So now that we have a target, what do we do about it?

Ok, let's look it this logically. If I were capable of burning the same amount of BA as you do, I'd say I've got the MPR advantage. - Before long anyway.
But The Appocalypse Book may not be the big kid in the playground anymore, but that little wimp has one big sword.

So how am I going to take that out of the picture? Well, he's gone for a MH. That says something. A) He's smart enough to see that it's the best weapon in the game. But also B) He's relying on VA.

How do I kill that? I can't use DM, partly because I have EC and AMF. But also because that MH is still going to generate HP whether I have DM or not. I need to take away it's damage.
So how do we do that?
The oldest trick in Chuckles Bag of Annoying Tactics. The enchanter defense.
EEET, that's my new strategy. I'm going to ditch the weaker of my tanks and convert it into an enchanter with just enough HP to make it through ranged against mages, no more than that.
The idea here is that ranger is going to be hitting air up until the 4th round of melee. His MH is not going to be generating much HP at all, and he's not going to be hurting anything important. My one tank now also is able to drop all NW into it's weapons. I'm also going to use a ranged weapon, prefferably elbow.
I'm going to kill at least two of his enchanters in ranged. Chew through that wall of his easily within three rounds of melee. I now find my tank on it's own against his tank. Only differences are, he has a bigger sword, but I had an extra enchanter.
So we need to use that enchanter to our advantage.
We need EC.
VA would also be useful (TAB is hitting air mostly for three rounds. Those three rounds I'm hitting a wall, brilliant for generating HP).
So I'll train EC and a small VA.
TAB now only gets hits through his PTH. I hit more. I have more HP. I have higher ST. He has a bigger blade.
Who's going to win? I'll back myself to win this one, seeing as I am able to gain MPR faster.

We have to accept that he's going to respond to these changes. But then I'd respond too.

That's what I'd do if I were in your shoes.

Anything is beatable, you just have to dodge their strengths and hit their weak points.

I was making a post in response to what chuckles said about picking the top guy and going after him trying to beat their strat.... I would love some more competition at the top that is what makes this a game…

you guys are talking about clans I never said anything about clans... and if you would like to bring up clans than that is fine but I don't try to say anything bad about you guys to anybody out side of inside BR but the only reason we have problems is because of threats and just plain rude remarks from MM...

we had major competition with DL and still do but we get along with them just fine your clan is the only clan that seems to make this thing not fun by being just plain rude to people and threatening clans...

if I remember correctly a while back MM threatened a clan by trying to get them to pay him so his clan wouldn't farm them...

Ask almost any other clans we are very pleasant and good people in BR and are always trying to help out other people as well as other clans if and when needed...

USD is a path where a player cannot spend time to do the works but want to have a short cut to the top. Why? "Cause it's always feel good to be better than someone else.
I do not intend to turn my thread into a USD war on who spend the most. To me, I dont intend to look for any shortcut at all. So far, MrChuckles 's post was the most amazing thought i have not heard yet. Give me a few days to re-read it and try to understand it fully.

Sorry Dawg. If you haven't notice, there is really no competition between I Love You and Tab or Krang. To me, the one and only one competition is with Failure.

Dawg - I was not saying anything about clans except that we've been battling it out at the top .. that's all in good BLENDING .. I took your comment as rude personally .. It looked more like you were trying to say kitty isnt smart enough to beat you guys so she was asking for help .. if u didnt mean it that way cool, but your motives were kinda unclear in the post ..

chappy you must not have kids because if I was referring kitty as being dumb than that would mean that I am calling my son dumb also.... the "" mean that it was a statement that I have actually said and I do say this to my son many times, he has a problem with giving up and I am trying to break him of that.. I would never call my son dumb and I am not calling kitty dumb if I were I would say this.. "kitty you are dumb" but I am not saying that....

Also I always believe in figuring things out on your own... the only way to be the best is to try to figure it out on your own ask for help on some of your own ideas to get constructive criticism...

kitty you need some DBs especially if you are using an axbow.... you will never be able to see the benefits of the axbow if you don't have some DBs to take care of some of the + on our big weapons...

FYI I don't need anything but my MH and TAT to beat kitty, my pr is lower than hers when I take everything off except those 2 items.... NW is not all that wins me battles, mine is so high because for others I need some stuff but most of it is just for show my points don't improve enough for me to take my equipment off so I don't see the point....

Take IMP, he was close, so very close to drawing me. But a simple change in strat, with a loss of only 3k MPR allowed me to continue to beat him---For now.

You have talked about my character as it currently is. But you do not know what else I have in store for TAB for the future. I have a plan. One I call "Plan 2".

With respect to Kitty copying my strat, I think its fine. Imitation is the best form of flattery. The current strat I am using works quite well. I got rid of GA a couple weeks ago for VA. For me it was the right thing to do. For Kitty now, GA is far better.

DAWG was in no way, shape or form being demeaning to Kitty. He was saying that instead of opening a thread that essential says "How do I beat Ranger and DAWG?", it would be best to experiment as DAWG and I have to find a strat that beats us. And yes Chappy, that is the point of this thread, what other point is there?

A lot of my NW was gotten from good trades and something Todd did in cb1. He bought characters and items in bulk and sold off the parts for a huge profit.

And Kitty, talking about shortcuts to the top, you have used the biggest one-The NUB. But as we know MPR rules. Ask DAWG when he had his last character with 1/2 the NW of TAB. Even 2x NW could not compensate.

If you want to beat me you need 2 things: First more NW and DB's on your tank. Second: more NW and DB's on your tank. Simple as that.

Lastly, Megaman. I have played TAB from the beginning. I have the most battle fought. I have spent USD. But your insistance to keep trolling this thread with useless posts is more than annoying, its pathetic. I thought you were leaving, please go, i'll hold the door open for ya.

Errr, who said i want to beat Ranger in the first place. And then again, it's not about Ranger again please. After all, i can try a to compete with "a player" but i can't beat 1/3 of CB community shaped on 3 or 4 minions. And that my friend, is an absolute truth. While i am sitting here saving arrows and bolts, i can't afford to "adapt" like others who is capable.
And Dear Mr. Chuckles. I really do not wish to have NUB to the point of gaining equal NW like top players have. Simply my ears already hurt from trying to gain exp. My head would probably explode, my nose would bleed and my eyes would blind from read posts to posts if i even had that chance.And you already know why.
