Strange things about Shadow Cloaks: (in General)

Hi all,

Just noticed this, I know this was discussed before but nobody knew why it was happening:

Cloak of Gods [11] (+22) worth $2,002,334 owned by DAWG (Krang)
Cloak of Etherality [11] (+22) worth $2,034,564 owned by QBRanger (The Apocalypse Book)

Same + on the cloak with different NW.

Now the fun part:
A shadow of my former self [11] (+23) worth $2,994,726 owned by freed (Freed)
Titanium Power Cloak [11] (+24) worth $3,233,873 owned by Fuhgawz (Fuhgawz)

So, using my cloak:
22--->23 is $2,994,726-$2,034,564=960162
23--->24 is $3,233,873-$2,994,726=239147

Going from 22 to 23 is 4 times the cost of from 23 to 24.

But, Via the Blacksmith :
+23 $542,613
+24 $1,232,593 or $689980 more than +23

it could possibly have something to do with this:

SC base changed

IIRC, sometimes on Cb1 when items were changed (base AC should affect upgrade costs?) The NW was not exactly the same

I could, however, be entirely wrong ; )

I do remember something about stuff bought from the stores can have a different Base NW than stuff bought from auctions back in the old day. Don't know it that still applies or not.

doesn't apply anymore spaceman, but i do think that it has to do with the changes in base values, SC's already in game were also changed but not all of them were changed the right way ;)

Everyone knows a cloak worn by a Ranger is worth more than a smelly DAWG blanket.
