Negative DX (in General)

Hi!

I am using EC quite a lot. I want to know if it is useful to train also evasion on my tank. Do you know how operates the plus to hit of a weapon when the DX is lower than 0? Is a negative DX considered as equal to 0 for the plus to hit, or the plus to hit does have to balance first the negative DX?

I hope I am clear...

Thanks!

Negative dex is counted as zero.

:)

The plus-to-hit of your weapon is only affected by DB's and anything with Evasion so if your opponent has neither but drains your dex to 0 then the plus-to-hit will still work to the % of the +.

in other words: with +150 and a dx of 0 you could still hit your opponent :p

Well, it's me that drains its dx into negative values with my EC ;-)

But if I have well understood, even if its dx is equal to -300000 he could still hit me with a +50 weapon?

So evasion and DB are useful for me...
This is disquieting since I was eager to take bloodlust...

Exactly, no matter how negative his dex is it still counts as 0.

Ultima,

However, if you use EC and also drain his str to 0, he will do no damage to you, even if he hits with via PTH.

indeed, I forgot this too. thanks
