vampirism (in General)

UltimaSpock [Forge Frog Services] January 30 2006 12:29 PM EST

Hi!

I will soon train vampirism. I wanted to know if there was an optimal level, such as for bloodlust or archery...

thanks

Bigger is better, just dont pass your afflicted damage.

Haven't you checked the wiki about it yet?
Because it does contain all the info you are asking...

UltimaSpock [Forge Frog Services] January 30 2006 12:55 PM EST

sure, because I did not understood what was written.

because the level of damade depends on the opponent, does not it?

with one opponent i can make a 1000 hp blow, with another 2000, with another one, only 200...

do i have to average my damages and set my va level to it accordingly?

Zoglog[T] [big bucks] January 30 2006 12:57 PM EST

keep it up to the level of your Most Powerful Blow is the easiest way to do it to make sure it stays 100% effective.

Maelstrom January 30 2006 12:58 PM EST

"just dont pass your afflicted damage."

What? I don't think you'd damage yourself if your VA was too high...

Doc [girl power] January 30 2006 1:21 PM EST

Gee, I guess thats too hard to understand...dont train it past the damage you are capable of doing.

sigh, thats inflicted damage :p

Maelstrom January 30 2006 1:37 PM EST

I think you mean to say that you don't need to train VA any higher than the amount of damage you are capable of dealing. Just warning against doing it sounds like it would be harmful to yourself.

AdminQBnovice [Cult of the Valaraukar] January 30 2006 1:40 PM EST

training it higher than your most powerful blow isn't going to hurt you, it may actually be the way to go (if you're going after teams with a medium Dispell Magic). I know of at least one char on here with VA trained rather high just to try and deal with the FB/DM stuff...

Gilgamesh2090 [NCB Shop] January 30 2006 2:22 PM EST

I keep mine equal to damage I have dealt. If I deal 200,000 damage, I have a VA of 200,000. ToE can affect the damage you as can AC and other things, but just use the amount you mostly do, say between 180-220, a VA would be good at 200.

AdminShade January 30 2006 4:06 PM EST

And VA is vulnerable to DM.

BootyGod January 30 2006 4:54 PM EST

jeesh u people did u have to insult him? Ultima just train however much u want. If you always want full effect train To MPB. You CAN train higher if you want or lower if you want. Just make sure the rest of your strategy is not being pulled down by it

UltimaSpock [Forge Frog Services] January 31 2006 2:35 AM EST

thanks for your answer guys!

since I am using a tank and three mini tank, I will train my VA to 0.5 my most powerful blow. Do not want it to be too high due to DM, and vs non DM teams, my three mini tanks will have a full effect VA, and my tank, a little bit less...
