Is there any chance of getting the GS effective figure linked to the BL effect. I know it is reasonably easy to use a calculator but it would be a nice improvement imho.

It would be quite difficult, esp in cb2, given the fact that DM can dispel part if not all of your GS. So each battle is different (your strength that is). There is no way, except to have it show on the post battle stats, to know what your final strength/BL ratio actually is. And I do not see that as a priority for Jon at this time.
Yes, I know you have the ROS so your GS goes off all the time, but for programming sake, its easier not to have to search for each character with GS, see if they have a ROS, then compute the new BL level. Unfortunately a calculator is now your best friend :)

perhaps verifex could make a small mod for this?
just for the BL / ST + GS thing.
