Pictures wont show Java problem??? (in Off-topic)

so i just installed Java and the bot checks wont show and peoples portraits wont show and any thing that appears to be an image wont show...any ideas???

Java has absolutely nothing to do with the botcheck images. Look elsewhere.

What internet browser are you using? What OS? What version of Java? Did you install the JRE or the SDK?

Regardless, you should probably just check your internet browser options.

have you tried the basic things?

- clear cache
- check pop up preferences
- check add blocking programs

alright thanks all i did the basic things like shade said which is clear cache, i also did restart and un installed the ad blocking program i had up...the java i installed i got from www.java.com not to sure which java it is(i think its called Java 2 Platform) the os is windows XP and the browser is IE...i ussually use firefox but lately firefox ahs been acting wierd where it would log me out of sites and other such things where IE isnt doing that...also i see i got pictures up which is a good thing just fight is suspended for about 30 more minutes and than i can see if i can get bot checks than...thanks alot all!!!

ok pictures are showing, just botchecks wont show, which caused me to missed another one...im getting pissed off i will have my friend come over later to look at the computer and see if he can do anything about it...thanks for the help all!!!

I've been having the same problem recently, only affects me sometimes. Closing the window and then re-opening it works for me : ) I haven't bothered fixing it though, so I can't help there
