For Amulet of AC and Might owners (in General)

AdminShade June 25 2006 1:06 PM EDT

I know that some of you people will have one very soon.

I am asking you to put any data regarding them in this thread and I am most interrested in Blacksmith costs and perhaps forging times.

Thanks!

Also don't use this thread for discussion on 'perhaps its this': Novice already made a thread about that

So, 2% added to STR per +? Very fancy.

That's what it says in the items overview page... :)

regarding the forge and the AoM:
I'm seeing the biggest gains at +[27,5], but that is 11BA. +[25,5] is only 9BA and is yielding 97-98% as much on the RPM.

Also, +[27,5] has the 2, 1 ,5, 2 ratio and +[25, 5] has a 1, 1, 5, 2 ratio. It's been so long since I last forged that I can't recall (and maybe it has changed since then), but is 2, 1, 5, 2 the ratio at the sweet spot? I think it is, but I'm only going from memory. Either way +[25, 5] is much more efficient.

"That's what it says in the items overview page... :)"

it doesn't say that on my items overview page?

update on forging the AoM:

+[25,5] seems to get only about 92% of the RPM as +[27,5], but at 9BA vs. 11BA (or about 82% of the BA) it still seems to be the way to go.

Rough progress meter: 63.695% from one cycle of [25,5] for me.

anyone tried forging the AoAC yet?

Proteus June 26 2006 11:05 AM EDT

Forging for the AoAC is the same as the AoM so far as I can tell.
