Should I quit? (in General)
SBW

Please give me reasons to why I should and shouldn't. That'll add to my decision
First, before the Great CB community begs for you to stay.
What are your current reasons for leaving and staying?

No! Even though you should change your name back it's great having you around! =) it would be said to see you go....

Why do you need our opinion? if you feel that CB sucks now and wonna leave then leave.

leaving-
1. econ is totally whack because of auction rares... MC's for 100k (pathetic)
2. the people aren't friendly anymore
3. chat's dead
4. friends are all gone
5. NUB noobs passing all vets
6. all admins do now is sit around quiet..
7. it's just not fun anymore
staying-
1. friends i have left
2. building my character
3. paying off my 610k debt (but i think glowie would rather keep my ELB)
4. hanging around

"i mean.. remember the day base BoTh's went for 6m?!?"
Indeed I do.
I also remember the days when whoever had the best camping bots had a stranglehold on anything better than paper mache' armor and butter-knife weapons.
Because of this reason
7. it's just not fun anymore
I won't ask that you stay because you shouldn't. If that is how you feel, then why do ask us to convince you otherwise? If the game isn't fun, simply don't play it.
So, I won't waste any of my time asking you to stay when your mind is already set to leave.

i didn't use a bot o.O
leon- it can be fun, if things change a bit!
the people change
the community
the game maybe..
that was another game SBW...
Things have changed, and people have left, but I still haven't found as well structured a system for gaming that wouldn't require an 8 hour a day commitment. The economics of the game have lost a lot of luster that was so exciting, but I don't think we are beyond the point of no return. The auctions system needs some serious help, the introduction of cental bank bidding hasn't had the desired effect (in my stupid opinion), and in fact has encouraged sniping, and discouraged bidding. A consignment style store system seems far better suited to our current community, allowing folks to set the price they want, and wait for a willing buyer. NW-PR may have killed the rares market, but it's the auctions that are continuing to choke the last breath from what was once a very interesting merchant class.
I can't speak about the people because i'm rarely in chat. The community in the forums aspect seem great, imo.
Doesn't the game change every 3 months now? In fact, this is the only game i know that changes the game play frequently.

hmmm. I want to hear Jon's opinion
"If that is how you feel, then why do ask us to convince you otherwise?"
Because he doesn't want to feel that way. He's asking for help in finding something to enjoy about CB now that all the stuff he previously enjoyed is gone. For instance, consider a playground where the proprietors take away the swing set. The swing set kids then need to find another part of the playground that is enjoyable. You find great enjoyment in the see-saw. He's asking you to help him see the fun in the see-saw.

Thank you NS
Well if you want to be interested in my "see saw" then you have to try a few others first.
Maybe you should take a short break and try out other games. Then you'll realize you've taken a few things about this game for granted. I have played many other Online games. None of which are as great as this one.
You think this community is bad. Have you played Runescape?
You also think that the game may need a change. I both disagree and agree with that. CB is known for changing Alot in game play. In almost any other game, the "story" is set. The code has been made and is rarely altered unless it's to fix exploits. In other games, How often are you able to suggest something to make the game better and have that idea been taking into consideration? Maybe you could explain Exactly what you meant by changing the game.

Econ's not out of whack, everything just isn't the price you want it to be.
2. the people aren't friendly anymore
I'm not friendly??
3. chat's dead
That depends entirely upon what time you are in it.
4. friends are all gone
I'm not friendly, AND I'm not you friend? Sheesh. I feel so loved.
5. NUB noobs passing all vets
Not all the vets - and how can you complain about that when you've got the availability of the NCB, the experience of being a Vet, and the time to have made enough $$$ to create an NCB?
6. all admins do now is sit around quiet..
Nah, they're still active and fun. There's just only 4 left.
7. it's just not fun anymore
If you don't think it is fun, don't play. What kind of person plays a game they don't think is fun? I was here entirely for the chat for quite some time.

Stay or quit:
It should be your decision.
Is the time you put into cb2 worth the return, that is do you enjoy your time on CB2?
If not, then leave.
We all need to make these decisions personally and not ask others if staying or going is right for them
I personally would like to see you stay, but if your not happy with cb2, then a break might be in order.

See my post titled "Why CB is better than Runescape"
After reading this post, I'm reminded of a song... anyone want ot guess which one?
yeah go for it, quit if you feel like. see ya later.
"yeah, but you're sexy OB, everyone likes you :) I'm hated"
Now that's just untrue...
Well, the bit about OB is correct. ;)
Blue Funks can ruin anyones day, I suffer from them, I think everyone does. Sleep on things, they're usually much better after a good nights sleep. And drop me a CM in the morning. :)

No S Beee W don't quit !!! You're sooooo cool, I don't know if CB could handle you leaving. We can change I swear, just pleeease give us another chance.

PK a.k.a. PirateKing... an old CB'er(CB1 user id #662) that not many others will remember. Great player though. Noted mostly for talking in bizarre Piratelike phraseology in chat. Conducted the first weekly "Carnage Blender NFL Pool" in 2002. Apparently back now.
By camping bots, I assume he means the bots people used to have before the store had bot checks : )
at SBW: it is ultimately your choice, however...
you should at least wait till the end of the month to make up your mind, it is a change month : )

5. NUB noobs passing all vets
I cannot believe this attitude still persists. (And to save you the trouble of looking, I am just coming to the end of my NUB, and yes, I passed a few vets on the way up.)
On the one hand, you are complaining about people being unfriendly, on the other you resent the fact that a new player can (with four months hard work) actually get their name up in lights. I just cannot fathom the logic of that.
Sure, get rid of the NUB. Then see what sort of retention rate you get out of new players. You will get the pleasure of a top seat on a scoreboard populated by an ever-decreasing circle of veterans. I am sure that will be a fun experience that will keep you interested in CB for years to come.
The NUB was one of the biggest factors for my sticking to CB for 4 months (which for internet gaming is a fairly long time). My reason for quitting the game I played before this was that I had NO hope of ever catching up with people that joined even a week before me.
Sorry if I am sounding, in your terms, "unfriendly". I do not mean to be, and I do hope you stay. I intend to stay also, though I will be online less. So, the vets that still play actively can reclaim the position on the scoreboard that I am usurping. :)
Just stay because i came back :)

If you really want to leave, then go.
But if you somehow still want to stay, then stay.
If you are not sure, it is better to stay and finish than to leave and longing to come back.
