All right, this is my character now, yet again indeed.
I know I should be using an ELB but that isn't my idea of fighting ;)
What I want is some ideas on how to again improve my character some more. If there are any specific questions regarding some choices of skills, spells or stats, feel free to address them to me either by Chat Mail or through this thread.
Thank you, Shade

AoI on ungoliant why?
So everything hits Melkor and Ungoliant absorbs it with PL.
because it makes his PL actually work

AoI on my Enchanter to not get hit by any Tank damage, in which the PL helps absorbing it from my tank and only getting 90% of the damage.

Wouldn't the extra AC from the enchanter be better? Just try a battle you normaly win and switch AoI and see what happens.
37 AC gives roughly 7.77% damage reduction.
PL gives 10%.

My Enchanter now lives more, and takes less damage. And by doing that my character lives longer.
In other words, this works best (have tried this for some weeks and this works better than without the AoI)

Well, you already know you would do more damage with an ELB in ranged so I won't go over ground I've tread before.
But the thing that concerns me is the dex on your tank.
My smaller tank already has, thanks to my Haste, higher dex than yours. Which means tank against tank you're only hitting him once per round. Upping your dex will increase your damage output.
Apart from that I don't think there's anything to add to the team. It's a good strat, that just needs more damage output.
(Although I'm wondering if you need to be training EC?)
OK a couple of thoughts.
I do not like the dual role your enchanter is playing. If he is an enchanter, let him be one. Drop the PL, stick the AoI on the tank, stick the tank in front and make them kill the worthless minion first. This will work for frontal and MM assaults.
I am not a big fan of 2 minion AS. I think GA would serve you better.
Consider the EB's on the Tank. +50 DB's are nice, but in the end, you may find that more DX equals more hits by you, and this may be more effective than trying to dodge with the DB's. BL is an offensive skill. So be offensive, max up the DX and hit as often and as hard as you can.
To that end I wonder if the MS doesn't hurt more than help. With a 2H weapon and a shield and an xbow, I think you are taking a bigger DX pen hit, than the 12.18% physical damage the MS blocks.
I would consider dropping the EG's and EB's on the enchanter, putting regular leather there. You get no true benefit from the real reason to have the elven gear. I am certain you could sell both items, get leather to equal the AC you get from the Elven stuff and still have money left over to invest in your weapons.
I have no clue about protection really, but I would not be surprised that peer level DM wipes it out totally. That is a lot of exp tied up on your tank, that might be better served elsewhere.
None of these are absolutes and they certainly do not all need to be implimented, but that is just a few thoughts I have.

Johnny:
Increasing my DX is the next thing I will be doing when my HP is 1,000,000
This indeed should help a lot.
Sefton:
Dropping the PL and getting the AoI to the tank could help it deal with those things indeed, perhaps I could get an AoAC instead for it to help increase the blocking.
The AS doesn't have any penalties, so this is both HP for my Tank and Enchanter to gain, imo this works better than having a GA... I never liked GA much.
The MS indeed costs me about 200k DX, which when considered from the without point, is costing me 22% DX. (When not having it equipped I have close to 900k DX) Also I don't think Melkor originally had a Shield either. It doesn't block really that much magic damage either...
Dropping the EBs and EGs on the Enchanter would go together with removing the PL, because that is the reason I have them on it. The EBs would then be going to the Tank instead of the DBs possibly, I know it adds a lot of DX to it.
The protection will stay, currently there is only 3% experience trained on it in regards to the total experience on my tank. It helps me quite some against characters which don't have DM and if they do have, it's only a minor set back imo.
Perhaps indeed I should drop the PL and bring my Enchanter to the back and have it being killed off normally. And put the EBs and AoI back to the Tank.
Then I can sell the EGs and get an AoAC for more AC on the Enchanter to block some more magic and physical damage.
The Shield currently has 12 months of naming left, so it will stay on me for some more time.

Some quick hits:
1) DROP THE AXBOW. Get and ELB!!!!!
2) you may want to consider losing the MS, unlearning your dex, and learning a lot more hp on your toa tank
3) I do think your PL is far too high for your enchanter given its other skill levels. You can lower it a bit by changing the elven boots and DB's around, also move the AOI to your tank and put him in front.
4) Im sure your TOA is far too low compared to your MTL. First thing I would do is insta it up.

Hmmm, Ranger:
1) easy simple, just need the money :p
2) dropping my 400k DX on the ToA tank and dropping the MS will make me lose 200k DX and free up enough exp to train little over 300k HP, would it be worth it?
3) why put my tank up front with the AoI, and still have PL on it? It would only absorb damage from CoC and FB then...
4) my MTL is about 1.6 mil. which is about 400k higher than the level of my ToA. The level of my ToA is also rising a bit faster than the MTL.

i think, of course ELB.
ditch the DB get some EB, you get AC and more DX which is needed anyway.
+50 DB wont do much at your level. get +25 EB or about there. which is under 2 mil cost to you. +20 would be ok.
and sefton i disagree, to get +25 with leather boots will cost you way more than the EB he has now.
and maybe for the EG, im not quite sure.
though if you keep the elven gears, you might as well get an EC, SC is doing almost nothing, AC doesn't count with PL and it has an AoI, so basically you've sunk money into nothing. the only thing you'll get from the MCM and SC is that +53 Magic reduction, so 11.13% magic reduction.
with the EC, at +7 which is nothing, you get +4 off, but you get a bonus to PL and no reduction to EO and ED, even if it may be slight.
anyway the purpose of an enchanter is to die, i dont think getting an MCM on it is good, but thats just my stupid opinion :)
for the ammo, don't upgrade it, its just waste :)

The Elven Long Bow is a simple thing, and accepted as improvement.
Changing the Displacement Boots to Elven Boots is also helping my Dexterity a lot, even more when removing the Mithril Shield.
To get +25 on Leather Boots indeed will cost a lot more, but putting an Amulet of AC on it will help the AC also. It's up for debate but if I choose to switch my PL Enchanter to being a normal Enchanter, I don't need the huge AC anymore.
The Shadow Cloak is doing almost nothing? It is blocking much more damage than an Elven Cloak could for the same price. Also the reduction in EO and ED is so minimal, it's not harming me at all.
What about the +4 off? The bonus to PL is obviously not needed... which leads to investment in AC being worth it.
Upgrading ammo? How preposterous is that...
I told you once shade, your race of tanks not using an elb is dying. Its more a case of: "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em".
But don't change your strategy to much at this point.
Wait untill this change month is over. All the good changes always happend late in the month.

Oh wow, a shadow cloak on an enchanter with both PL and AoI. Amazing strategy. You know ELB is better but you won't get it...
Elven Boots over Displacement Boots, because you know that once your main damage dealer is dead and you've absorbed a load of damage because of AoI and PL, those 3 points of dex and the extra 7 armor are really going to save you. Brilliant. Then again it doesn't matter which one you wear because PL minions don't use armor. Hmm... I think I understand why you're wearing so much armor on your PL minion now.
I can't tell whether this strategy sucks or whether you've made a build that works so well that I just can't understand it.

Well after my main damage dealer is dead, there is nothing there to do damage...
The strategy on the whole works quite good, AND it is a reasonably old strategy even, set apart the ToA part.

Ok, if you say it works I trust you. I'm not an expert on tanks at all. But what jumped out at me is that your enchanter has both AoI and PL, and has 130 AC along with it. I really can't see the reason.

The AC also blocks some of the damage from Cone of Cold and Fireball, remember ;)
Anyway those stats aren't live anymore, I will update the first post to reflect the recent changes :)
