Ex Shot Splash Damage and The AoI (in General)

Does splash damage from the newly popular explosive shot bypass the AoI too?

Personally I would have thought it would, and I would like it too. If you're going to blow up your enemies you should only need to be able to target one of them to get the rest of them in splash.

Yup. FB bypasses AoI. ;) I should go do some testing...

Psychic has an AoI, so it's uneffected by that. He took zero damage as he's also wearing a RBF, which reduces splash damage.

OK. Triple hit with the EX Shot. Order changes each hit.

Come melee, my CoC hits the correct order, not that order makes any difference to CoC.

But, Ex Shot is doing it's full damage (splash is reduced) to different targets each hit.

Is this intentional or a bug?

So if your Ex Shot misses your original target, it doesn't explode and splash to the rest of the team.

Yes, I know it might seem a silly question (thanks for clearing up the FB/AoI thing, that had been bugging me for weeks..;) ) but as this particular splash damage is of a physical nature (at least, non-magical) I wondered if maybe it was a possibility.

Especially as ex shot splash seems to be working in a very strange way.....

GL: of course it doesn't splash when it misses, it also won't miss the other targets if it hits your 'aimed' minion...

And regarding AoI not having effect on it, FB is a spell and AoI doesn't affect spells. AoI wasn't designed to avoid splash damage either :)
