Yay, now I don't feel bad about buying an axbow.
Couldn't you have at least let me get an Ex or Ax bow first??? Good change, though.
im still not loving the ex/axbow, but they are more effective now.
Yay! been adament about using mine all the way through, just like I have with my ToJ on my single tank :P
Now I can attempt to fight up again :D

But... I was all set to jump on the "xbows are totally useless" bandwagon. Drat. :P
Query: What is the usefulness of seeker bolts on ex/ax bows? I'm guessing very little.
That would make Heavy Xbows useful in contrast to the archery requirement for ELBs, right? Since the heavy xbow will fire in all rounds whereas the ELB will not, you can put a heavy xbow on a wall/tank and equip otherwise useless seeker bolts to knock off mages early.
This change had a greater effect in that it made said rare ammo useful, as well.

seekers still have a higher base damage than normal bolts, but that still makes seeker bolts useless...

I knew someone would find a reason to be unhappy.
The reason is, my friends, so that if a strategy wants to put seekers they have that option. Thats like asking why is there a (32) protection... just to give you the option...
I'm not unhappy. Seeker bolts weren't ever useful on Ax/Ex bows. At least, not that I can see. Your goal is to shoot the tank, not the magic user. I'm just trying to see if they'd now be useful since you can put them on a normal Heavy xbow.
