TORM Q&A (in Contests)

If you have questions regarding rules, Chatmail syntax, current point standings, or anything to this effect, do post here.

You may NOT post answers in this thread. Those who do will be immediately disqualified and if possible I'll ask an admin if they would fine you or something for trying to ruin the Contest. I don't want any of that foolishness in here.

Anyways. Current questions that need addressing:

Q: Where should I send my 10k Entry Fee?

A: Send all entry fees to Safety Deposit Box, character of BBQ.

Q: How big is that prize, anyways?? I mean really??

A: Still working on it - thing is, it is growing as the contest continues. Right now it is planned to be at least a few mil. Definitely good motivation to enter!

Q: Can you post the answers after each week so we see what the correct ones were?

A: Sure. We'll do that, because we rock.

Q: Why is the main Contest thread locked?

A: Because otherwise
a) people might make it difficult to find the information one is searching by filling the thread with posts,
b) people might answer the questions within the thread thinking they are intended to be posted there,
c) we like it locked up tight, baby

All right, I sent my entry fee to Redwolf's Trivia II character before you posted this thread. Just for the heads up :)

Q: What conditions are there on <insert problem here where something is flying, falling, swimming, dropping, bootydancing, etc>?

A: All conditions necessary are stated within the question. Assume the scenario is exactly as the question puts it. "Are there clouds? Is it windy? etc" are unnecessary questions to ask.

2 questions:
1) Can we guess multiple times if we get the answer wrong?

2) Will there be only one big huge prize? Or will the other finalists win smaller prizes, their size corresponding to how far they got?

If you guess incorrectly, you will be notified and you may make another guess at that time.

There will be a very LARGE prize for 1st and a smaller one for 2nd. No other finalists are guaranteed to win a prize.

However, there may be a surprise or two hidden in the Marathon...*dum dum dum*

Adjustment to the schedule:

The entry deadline is extended to this Sunday, November 26. We still have room for a few more participants!

Also, regarding Problem 1, the sister with the clean face washed her own face.

I would have entered but I can't get chat, silly finalist rules :(

Q: Why are Qualifiers being extended by a week?

A: Because only 5 people have entered this contest thus far, and I can't justify having a contest that lasts nearly 2 months with huge prizes for only 5 people.

Call me stupid and most of you will, but I have no idea what this contest is about, what it is trying to accomplish and what you have to do in it.

Perhaps I am not alone.

This post should have all the details you need...?

If that's not enough clarification, simply ask which about whichever part appears fuzzy to you and I'll gladly answer any questions.
