CB T-Shirts: Jan 15, 2007 deadline for orders (in Off-topic)

Alright I have been granted permission from Jon to use the local print shop for CB T-shirts. I will be getting prices today on them. If anyone is interested please let me know.

My idea for a design is either cb2 or the Carnage Blender in red from the log in page on the front upper left of the shirt and user name and the swirly guy on the back.

They can also do hats, coffee mugs, sweat shirts, darned near anything. I am doing this at no profit for myself. I will only be charging what they charge me and UPS shipping fees. So if your interested let me know.

To get this organized a little better, order dead line is Jan 15. That should give everyone time to deal with the holidays.

On Jan 16 I will take the order to the print shop get the individual price per what you ordered and CM what you will owe me for the item and UPS shipping.

After I receive the amount that you owe me in my Pay Pal Account I will ship your shirt/hat/mug via UPS.

I believe UPS ships around the world so I have elected to use them for a carrier.

I have a CB1 T-Shirt, so I guess I will have to have a CB2 T-Shirt.

For international orders where there is no need for speed, also consider USPS... much cheaper ;)

A 1 pound package shipped by UPS to my country is about $54. USPS charges almost $50 less ;)

Why don't we have a contest with art submissions for the t-shirt? The last one was pretty cool. I'll see if I can post a picture of it :)

Also, the graphics included the names of everyone who bought a t-shirt!

how much will it cost for a shirt edyit?

A little up date, the logo on the front page needs to be spruced up some to be used as a graphic on the shirts, ect. if anyone here is good with Illustrator version 10 and would like to do this it will lower the cost of production. As for prices and pics of items i don't have a set in stone price yet. prices will be the price of the item you buy and shipping and handling to where you live and the production cost divided the number of people who order things (including myself) so if someone can spruce up the swirly head logo off of the log in page that will lower production costs by 25$ to 50$. Again if you can do it using Illustrator version 10 that would save costs for us all and be greatly appreciated.

This is probably a stupid question but did you check to see if Jon had another swirly more like would be needed?

Aww man. I was thinking of proposing a new logo for CB, but I guess with all these shirts and stuff being made, we'll have to have the current logo dragged on for at least another year or so ><

unless you would like to email me a pic of the new logo we are going to use then i would put that on the shirts instead of swirly, preferably a high resolution pic if thats possible.

Hey if thats the case why don't we use my current user picture.I think its a shaved 3 legged cat but your guess is as good as mine.Na Pixel can do better than that. I hope its something in the same vein though. How about Jons face with parts of the old mask riveted into his flesh ?

I think I'll stick with the original swirly head. If anyone here besides Pixel Sage is good with Illustrator version 10 and would like to spuce up the image it will lower the cost of production.

Pixels new logo is neat .I have to admit I'd like to see both on our items though !

Man, I think I'll have to sell some CB for a T-shirt =P. A few questions for you.

1) Estimated current cost of each product?
2) Will each product be customized to each individual (only their name on each?)
3) May we please see photographs of the products?
4) What color are these shirts?
5) Do these people have a website that we can visit?
6) How do the guys want the logo file? Will a photoshop file with vectors work, or does it need to be an illustrator file?

Oh yes and as mentioned, I did attempt a new logo. Thoughts?

I'm getting pretty good feedback on the new logo. Jonathan likes it quite a bit, and for all I know it can actually be the new official one if Jonathan says the word. Now, for the T-shirts... I need those questions answered =D

Like to see a small patch centered on the left, real pro look. Like an "I work here" golf t-shirt. Took five secs in MS paint but you get the idea. If you could embroider something tasteful like this it would be awesome. Slap pixel's small logo on the back near the collar stitch a trapezoid around that if you wish for more class. Or edit the Gazerbeam emblem from The Incredibles to CB into red & grey with a few more changes in accordance with copyright laws and originality, put that below Swirly instead of a moniker. Throwing out ideas here because I've thought about this myself as you can tell.

You two do get that that logo doesn't work in print right? it'd be miniscule or ugly or both. We'd have to get someone to redo it larger to use on shirts...

In all honesty I don't see any logo talked about working unless there is a major rehash. Swirly seen in that slap'n'dash, same size mind you, could be done on separate material and stitched in place if you wondered how. But I'm not standing by that design either mind you.
Also would too hard to describe what I want in one go without show and tell. I might try if anyone really wants to listen. ;)

Whats the mug going to look like? I kinda like Guns little thing... maybe that and Pixels new logo on it somewhere (Great work Pixel!) Doesn't really need my name on the back... maybe somewhere very small a dinky {CB1}Wasp... that would look nice : )

Any other thoughts on the mug? Seems that only me wants the mug so can I customise it to my liking?

A little update. Waiting for pixel to buff the graphics (thanks again i owe you big time) when the graphics are buffed i send them to the print shop, they then give me a price on what shirts etc. will cost each. And wasp i want a mug as well was thinking just swirly and pixels logo on the mugs (only going with user names on shirts) going with the standard sized coffee mug. And in all probability it won't be 80.00 a shirt lets be realistic.

Yeah that would look better, the swirly thing (like the one Gun did maybe) and on the opposite side, the new cb logo done by Pixel, that would look great :P

I know it'll be more expensive since it wont be with the bulk purchase but could you ask for the price on a seperate one that doesn't have Pixel's logo on it?
I'll say I'm interested but I don't like Pixel's logo and I need to see if the shirt is going to be in a reasonable price range.

If we're gonna ship a few to the UK, we might just as well save on postage and send it to one of us, who can then just send them on to the rightful owners. ;)
