Get the WoW game for free here http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/downloads/wowclient-download.html
it's an official blizzard hosted file, so no funny stuff. it's a 4~ gig download though Good luck

Unless they have changed something, that download is only good for 10 days, and since it's a 'free' trial, it severely limits what you can do in game (No selling in Auction House, No trading items or money w/ other players, etc..).

When the 10 day trial is up, you will still have to purchase a retail copy of the game to continue playing. You won't be forced to re-install the game, you will just need a retail CD-Key to activate the game. The retail version will also come with your first month of game play free.

World of Warcraft requires you to pay every month, there are no free downloads, only trial versions for either 10 days or 10 hours of gameplay.

Hmm that's funny, cause it's what I use to play WoW with..

I'm not new to MMOS either, yeah I know you have to pay a monthly fee, this is the client for the game, not the actual game itself. I wasn't trying to say he could get free WoW, just that he didn't necessarily had to buy the client.
