AMF or DM (in General)

I'm not sure which i should put on my char Black Rose but I killed by GA all the time and i don't know if AMF really does anything for me or not.

Your HP is really very very low. You should consider a big DM to reduce GA damages or you can fight teams without GA.

How much does your AS cast for? You are very vulnerable to DM teams.

Basically with archery and the large elb, one should go DM.

Remember that by using archery you already took the path of the quick kill, like the FB mage. Especially with the HoC allowing you to kill 4 minions in missile rounds.

The key reason you have to use DM is GA. One does not really care about nuking others Prot or AS, as hopefully you will be doing multiple hits per battle round for massive damage.

You need wall gear on your last minion so he can last longer vs MM users. You will also need way more HP than you have now. If you are going ToA Tank, then you should only train Archery as needed, throw in a little Dex just to help you hit others and the rest should be HP. Don't overly rely on AS, as there will always be someone out there that can nuke it, unless you are using a RoS. A good rule for Tanks is to try to keep 10k hp per 100k MPR, but the bigger you get, that can go up and down based on need.

I do front loaded archery with neither DM or AMF and have no problems against most GA... my issues are dexterity differences... i.e. when I don't hit in the first 3 rounds I die. So I'm trying to build up EC to combat that... we'll see how well it works.

I agree with Popsicle Man, if you can survive 3 rounds (dying on the fourth) then you really don't need any more defenses, if at that point you're still losing then as an archer you need to increase your attack.

AMF is therefore only advisable if you're dying within those three rounds against mages.
However as you've already got a wall and a four minion team I'm hesitant to say that you need any more defenses. And DM in this case appears to be more defensive than aggressive.

Use it if you are dying against GA in the first three rounds on a regular basis.
When you can survive those rounds though, the only reason to use DM is if you are having trouble specifically from opponents AS, in which case it'd be an attacking spell and therefore worth using.

I meant for every 100k mpr to have 100k hp.
