Large score skew... (in General)

less than a week ago, you needed over 2.1m score to be top 25... now everyone seems to be falling backwards... This is making getting any sort of decent challenge bonus pretty hard. What's up?

Does this have something to do with the "rock" surpassing many of the "papers" that used to cover it, causing the "scissors" to cut "papers" with less score?

It just happens, score drops and rises....it is nothing new or unusual.

This has to be the 10th or 11th thread about it.

People gain score from fighting, if everyone gets a higher score, at some point score is harder to collect, so score drops again...

Sutekh helped everyone recently when he was fighting Popsicle Man to bump his own score.
Everyone else then got the benefit as the "inflated score" filtered it's way down the ranks. I for one certainly enjoyed a false score some 200k or so higher than where I should have been.

Likewise, when Jayuu, DAWG and Popsicle Man were swapping blows the scores managed to filter down. I've not had a challenge bonus since DAWG was banned.

Generally the score will rise and fall like this every now and then. The above are the two reasons I can remember for the most recent fluctuations.

Don't forget there's also people rising up in the ranks that can beat those 2 mil + score people, yet lose to others that aren't that high yet. It's just a cycle, scores go up and down frequently.

Typically my score hovered about 4M.

Then when someone double taps me their score shoots up and mine drops about 100k. That unnamed person who double taps me then gets hit by others and the increase in scores filters down the ranks.

Well now that person double tapping me is not letting me get my score over 3.3M, so their score does not shoot up that much and the cascade of elevated scores does not occur.

Well, now I occasionally lose to people well below my score since there is no reason for me to have such a high score anymore, it will get shot down very quickly. So, you can blame me if you want for the lack of a challenge bonus.
Or you can try to let me build up my score to about 4M and then let me keep it hovering there, occasionally double tapping me to restart the elevated score cascade.

2) When was the last time I said anything about this? I don't believe it was ever. You can read, right? Please excersize your ability to do so.

As far as everyone else's comments, thank you. That makes more sense now. :)

I'll never stop the double-tap, because another taps me to get into the Top Ten. *smile* Blame the top ten exemption for all of this. *smile* One simply cannot sustain growth when being in the 20-11 spots...

Besides, I do like keeping the score ladder condensed, and I like forcing people to try new stuff (nice try with the fireball, PM...I see you gave up that pretty quickly. *smile*)

Lol... PM, if you are trying to say I am playing your game, then that is pretty ridiculous... I have no intention of beating you, and if you wanted me to train more AS, you would have kept training FB. Also, my DM doesn't hurt you...nothing I have really does...
