Problem with Forging morg (in General)

ScY March 9 2007 9:23 PM EST

maybe i missed something but the greasemonkey script keeps getting the dwarf to quench it and start over when forging the PTH.

I checked many times, and I wasn't over-clicking or doing anything that might merit a dwarfing.

Help!

Try forging by hand if the script won't do it right for you. =)

gah, that takes forever and a week and then a day!

AdminNightStrike March 10 2007 12:19 AM EST

Are the values in the script correct?

ScY March 10 2007 12:27 AM EST

It seems so... i heat it for 95 minutes, then cast the spell, and teh dwarf dwarfs me... is there some kind of forging change?

QBPit Spawn [Abyssal Specters] March 10 2007 12:47 AM EST

man up and do it by hand ;)

Monkeyboy March 10 2007 4:24 AM EST

Verify that you're forging the accuracy (95 min) not damage (115 min).

AdminShade March 10 2007 6:31 AM EST

wimp, I always forge by hand...

[T]Vestax March 10 2007 8:18 AM EST

Hand forging is the only way I do it. Come on. Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty.

QBOddBird March 10 2007 8:31 AM EST

"gah, that takes forever and a week and then a day! "

Ah, you little kitten. You're not really forging if you use the script, you're cheating. *grins*

Besides, I forge by hand (unable to use the script in the first place) on a dialup connection.

You did check before starting that both the GM script and the dwarf were both at the start of the cycle ?
Sometimes they're out of tune with each other at the start and you have to either figure out where to start the GM script from manually or force the dwarf to restart by doing a couple of unscheduled quenches.

Hyrule Castle [Defy] March 10 2007 12:23 PM EST

or... do it by hand and save the hastle and lost NW?

ScY March 10 2007 2:59 PM EST

To monkeyboy: yes, it is PTH that i am forging (accuracy)

To GBeee: Yes, they were at the start of the cycle

Title should read "Problem with my laziness". Can we get an admin fix on that?

QBRanger March 10 2007 3:16 PM EST

Perhaps you can deal with Verifex in CM about this "problem" with the script.

AdminQBVerifex March 12 2007 11:17 PM EDT

Please send me a Morgul Hammer rental for a bit to verify this and possibly fix the formula.

ScY March 13 2007 1:42 AM EDT

if i had one i would.

Maybe someone can help...
