I've just watched this for the first time. Omigod. Wow.
O.O
I may be able to talk about it in a little while...

It sure is a great movie. Probably the best I have seen.

It isn't by far the best movie I have seen, though it is a nice movie indeed. :)

I wouldn't say it is the best ever, but it is certainly an awesome movie.
I can't believe it took you this long to see. :P

Yeah, I'm slow to see movies sometimes; I'm a big Frank Miller fan, so I guess I was wary of seeing it. But it feels like a Frank Miller comic come to life, much like Sin City did. And a lot of that is the way modern digital methods have been used.
Digital technology is too often, IMO, used to make the unreal real. I think I prefer it the other way around like this. Such a dream like quality.

The fight scenes sure put Gladiator to shame.

I think they were beautifully shot; some of the best battle scenes I've ever seen. The Japanese influence is strong, but that's very true to the original Frank Miller graphic novel; it was always one of the most interesting aspects of what he did with every comic he produced.

A true man's movie.
(Gosh, I sure do love slow-motion violence!)

But really well done slo-mo violence - it was like watching the frames of a comic - when they move the action across a page; those little still shots that would punctuate each move were superb.

Yes, but is it as good as
this?
Oh, that was brilliant!
I have a new battle cry:
"Brush your teeth!!!"

I liked the action and fighting.
I didn't like the rest of it.
(in-depth movie analysis right there)
I sooo gotta see this darn movie, but I always forget X_X.
As for the link...''Brush your teeeth!'' LOL.
my favourite moments: "this is SPARTA!"
and
the the 'pimp slap'(c),
Where Gerard Butler leaves the front ranks and goes on a rampage with his spear then his sword. He thwacks the last guy with his shield and proceeds to finish him off... anyone else think his body is god-like?
Makes me wish we could do pimp slaps in CB2.. i'd definitely buy/forge a shield that does damage ;)
