Rogue:

Rogue gets +1d6 damage on sneak attack, plus +1d6 more every 2 levels thereafter. This extra damage is not multiplied in case of a critical hit.

Ranger:

Trackless Step: +4 to hide and move silently in Nature.
Favored Enemy: Pick a type of enemy. +1/5 levels to damage against this enemy.
Ambidexterity and 2-Weapon Fighting.

Sorceror:

May assist a small creature to assist in combat or scouting. If familiar dies, caster loses 1d6 HP, but familiar is available to summon again the following day.

Monk:

Improved Unarmed Strike: Fight with hands as a weapon that improves as level increases. Begins as 1d8.

Stunning Fist: Selected use.

Flurry of Blows: Selected use. Monk receives an extra attack per round when fighting unarmed at a penalty of -2 to all attack rolls during Flurry of Blows.

Monks receive level based and wisdom based bonuses to AC. At 1st level, AC is 4, and wisdom past 10 gives +1 to AC per 2 levels.

Revised to thread: All characters with toughness added as a feat add 1 HP, Avoid's weapon is composite long bow 1d8 critical x 3, also a short sword 1d6, 19 or 20 x 2 critical. Gun's composite longbow should also reflect 1d8 damage.

I sent you a CM with what I would like as my character.

Sounds quite fun and old school.

For those interested in joining PPF and I will work out the details. He will be the statistical DM and I will be the Role Playing DM.

CM me your character request. I will then run it through PPF and he will add your statistics and send you the revised character. Then we will post the character in the thread. This way it will be easier to keep up with the characters and not have requests in here we can't keep up with, not to mention take up unneccesary space for requests.

For those already playing, PPF is rerolling the stats and after he has done this we will review and let you know the results. Then you will be able to pick which stat goes with which roll to better suit your character class.

Might I ask what this is about? How is this game going to be played? I might be interested if it isn't full already.

It isn't full at all! =) The more the merrier - after all, everybody is never going to be on all at once, so there will simply be a different mix of folk in the party each time. It is a basic RP session with D&D combat rules and hide/sneak/lockpick/spotcheck/etc. rules, etc. - Just CM me or Meso with your Name, Race, and Class of your desired character! ^_^


On another side note, I have re-rolled stats for all previous characters and rolled stats for new characters. The stats are rolled for you, now you simply need to choose where to put them and fill in blanks where information is missing. Afterwards I will include racial modifiers and the like. Can I be a human knight and work my up to chaos knight?

If anyone wants to help me out with tables, feel free....however, I'm taking in CMs, converting them into individual files for each character and putting them into a folder on my desktop, and then posting for each one. If I had a table layout ready, sure, I'd put it into table format - but I don't have one and I'm not taking the time to make one right now ;)

Well, number (2) from the list in the first post invalidates Dragonlance, as there are no orcs in that world (which is a shame... Dragonlance is the best.)

Your stat rolling mechanism is odd... 1d10? What happened to 3d6, or 4d6 drop 1?

Incidentally, the first character I ever played was a wizard that had 18(24) ST (obviously that was a 2e char). It was quite fun.. I elected to be a Knight of Takhisis, and so wound up being a mage wearing full plate battle armor and carrying a 7 foot long Sivak sword.............................

Unless you were Human and Dual Classes from Warrior to Wizard, even in second ed you couldn't have had exception strength. ;)

But you could have had a 25 str minotaur with Drats and wepaon specialisation. 5 Darts per round, all with your Str bonus to damage!

As for this thread, for example, can you play a Spellfire user (Forgotten Realms), a Warforged (Ebberon), a Gith (Planescape), or a Deathnight (Ravenloft/Dragonlance)?
