I just wanted to get a feel of what's on everyone's 'must fix' list. Let's not clutter the thread with "no you're wrong" posts, but rather cast a semi-vote on the issues which lie closet to our hearts :)

The NCB/NUB should be changed: at the moment, we are scowling at NUBs who sell out at the end of their bonus. Why should we? They are forced into the stale mediocrity of the 1~mil MPR and have no chance of climbing higher, EVER without USD (i.e. purchasing high MPR chars). So.. we want NUBs to enjoy endless and pointless BA burning? Same applies to NCB.

RoBF should be changed; it is beyond useless. Even when slapped on a strategy made for it, the RoBF is of less use than pretty much any other tattoo.

Closest to my heart? ... Forging needs some updates, along with Economic Clans.

Forging and MPR is highly out of sync with each other as described in this page right here. Maybe Jon did that for a reason as to not let higher mpr forgers make too much cash, but maybe we'll never know. Just thought I'd throw it up again.

On to Economic Clans. There just isn't any competition or anything between Eco clans. Sure, there are reduced xfers between members or what not, but besides that, why even have eco clans when everyones getting the same bonus?...

Forging IS a part of CB2 you know?

Note: I consider a ToA Nerf and the Evasion Multiplier reduction to come hand-in-hand, as I feel the multipliers were a necessity due to the PTH that grows with the ToA.

Note my modesty, I pushed myself all the way down to 4th in order to get that ToA nerf, the N*B fix, and the forger lovin' some priority.

Technically Zachery, your no.3 does not fall under the "must fix list" category, but rather the "no you're wrong" category... :)

2. ToA Nerf/Evasion Nerf (Fixed PTH of say 40 on ToA, nerf of ranged multipliers for Evasion)
3.HoC nerf (I dislike essential items that have a limited supply)
4.RoS boost (Increase DM resistance)
5. JKF boost (More Endurance and UC)
6. RoBF boost (More retaliation damage, instead of FB resistance RoBF user takes reduced damage in ranged e.g. 50% reduced damage against all ranged damage).
7. HF boost (More damage)
8. FF boost (HP to 35% DD to 120%)
9. IF boost (HP to 35% DD to 120%)
10. SF boost (HP to 35% DD to 120%)
11. Fight rewards change (specifically so that not everyone up top has 0% challenge bonus)

Evasion change or better explanation of how it works should be at least a Top Three issue.

I used to be hip to vagueness, letting it add mystique to the game... No more. The game is varied enough that implementation combinations add plenty of gestalt rock/scisor/paper mystique. Evasion appears to be rather over-powered against EC and even PTH, and it is hard to even begin to troubleshoot since no one knows where things stand in the first place when ranged multipliers are brought into play.

So, at least for Evasion, fix it or explain it.

How about if we're going to make a tally of things that need to nerfed that people only get to vote for 1-3 things. An unlimited amount of whining pretty much negates the whole "a list = accurate description of the most important things to get changed" idea.

I second the change to the NCB/NUB though, and evasion multipliers for ranged combat make it extremely difficult to attack/defend single evasion/DD especially since the one thing that can really help (AMF) gets nerfed from the NCS.

"Sort out evasion" works for me. BTW, a decent sized evasion makes mincemeat of my ToA - 1.5 million levels of bonus PTH added onto my paltry +40 weapon and still I can't hit a 100 level evasion in ranged....

1:-Randomness reduction-
Reduce fight randomness. (Damage, rewards, everything.) If I can beat someone once, I want to be able to do so every time, unless said person changes his/her strat around. And I want my rewards to be constant.

2:-Forging boost-
Now that I forge, I can clearly see why people want some change.

This one is my favorite, actually. Ranged damage of these things is just insane, and really unbalanced, imo.

4-HoC nerf-
Make it help only CoC and Decay users, or something along these lines, to make it less of a necessity to win. Or nerf ranged, whatever seems best.

The combo that would really, really, really make my day:

- Add PTH effect to trained DX
- Nerf ToA PTH
- Nerf ammo PTH

The suggestions I would really like to be considered:

- N*B Fix
- RoBF Boost

Things I don't really want to see happen:

- Elbow Nerf
- Evasion Nerf

Crazy ideas that would probably end up hurting CBII:

- Option to purchase one of every supporter item

If the option to buy every supporter item comes along -- It'll screw up the economy indefinatly. Right now an HoC goes for 5mil or so.. Make it so you can buy them, and they'll be 1mil or less.

1) Fix evasion, especially vs Ethereal Chains. It has to be broken in missile rounds.

2) Make the RoBF work in missile rounds

3) Lower all missile damage

4) Allow new players the ability to buy 1 of each past supporter item ONLY if they become a supporter for 6 bucks each.

5) Forgo the N*B and put in a bonus like I described in my past post. One that gives everyone, new and old, a chance to make ground on the top player.

6) Make forgers get bonuses during crazy times. More forging MPR during money time, less during xp time.

7) Make a new tattoo, that can only me made from a Jig tattoo. Something that would let all those who held onto their Jigs make a nice powerful tattoo. Something to shake up the game.

Weapon allowance....if you're going to do HUGE damage then your PR should reflect it, if only partly. I'm able to do damage right now that's competitive with the level I'm fighting at. And yet I'm only using a quarter of my WA. And damage wise, if I was using an ELB I'd be able to do a lot more damage than I'm doing now for the same price...

Furthering what's already been said...

Boost familiars in some way.
Change N*B in some way to make it more balanced.
Change RoBF to make it stronger.
Design a way to allow new players and old players who simply don't have access to supporter items. The prices are insane as of now, and they're all fun to play with.

Aye fix the bonus problems. Give a slight boost to forging efficiency to each and every item, maybe 10%. Lastly, delete the RoBF or make it a viable option, its almost as pointless as a DCM.

1. Ditch the N*B and implement something like Ranger suggested.

2. Evasion/ToA nerf.

3. RoS DM resistance boost. 1/4 is not enough.

4. ELB nerf. Allowing Etherial Chains to cut into Skills (Archery, in this case) might be a solution, but I admit I haven't thought this through. This would also help with the overpowered Evasion.

5. Make rare items rare again, and fix all the "pointless" items so that they become viable for low-mid level chars to use up until the upper-middle ranks.

6. For point 5 to work, we'll probably need to -partially- go back to the old weapon damage upgrade scale. This time have the upgrade costs start out very low and increase by a fixed amount per x instead of remaining constant. Example: A Morgul-Hammer costs 512 to go from x1-x2, 1024 to x3, 1536 to x4, and so on. x50 would cost 25088. This allows new chars to add a bit of "oomph" to their smaller weapons at a less than devastating cost, and discourages the prevailing "just save up for a rare instead" attitude.

7. A compromise to the bring back/don't bring back old supporter items debate, perhaps Jon could auction off an old supporter item for USD (not cb2, the point is for Jon to cover costs with things like supportership and said items) once a week, or once a month if that proves a bit much.

8. New items or spells not named after D&D or Lord of the Rings characters.

8. Increase the upgrade curve of the Mageseeker (aka nerf it)

a wiki search system is MUCH better for teh following reasons:

1. A google like search of wiki would allow noobs to find what they need by searching things like: fireball ----without obviously knowing how to find it.

2. For noobs, reading the wiki is hard because they don't know what to look for. A search system would streamline the whole learning the game process, because instead of meandering through different sections of the wiki, noobs, AND vets alike can just type in what they want, and BAMM! they're there.

3. A search system makes it easier to edit the wiki -- for one to find pages with very little on it, etc.

4. A search system will allow EVERYONE to save time.

5. Its convenient!!!

Also, can AC be displayed on the main page as enchantment AC/full AC? For example:

Defensive Shield ... AC: 25/26
An Amulet of AC [0] (+15)
A Pair of Displacement Boots [0] (+41)
A Pair of Leather Gloves [1] (+10)
A Cornuthaum [0] (+6)
A Rune of Solitude lvl 1,165,354

It would help a bit when figuring out magic damage reduction.

Small thing: Show if an item has been sold or not on the expired auctions page. That way you don't have to open every one of them to foolproof your prices.

It is in no way a "must do", but it would nicely complement the awesome little interface/forums change we got earlier.

I agree with the search option. I know it would have and still would help me find info and what not.
