Evasion: 2,635,000/1,550,000 (169) <----
how is it possible i get hit by "ekeke" occasionally during the last ranged round =.=" ... im so convinced that theres something wrong with MSB lol

QBRanger September 28 2007 11:03 PM EDT

TOA

lostling September 28 2007 11:07 PM EDT

did not think TOA could be so overpowered... can you show some numbers? thx :)

QBRanger September 28 2007 11:11 PM EDT

I give up with numbers.

What I know does not seem to work with evasion/EC/TOA.

I have posted numerous times about what my Ethereal Chains should be doing, but get no confirmation/denials from other people.

So I just take it as it is.

Brakke Bres [Ow man] September 29 2007 8:09 AM EDT

what if you combined a ToA with evasion?
And besides lostling don't forget no bonus for evasion in the last round and no dex advantage and he probably has a nice PTH modifier on his bow

AdminShade September 29 2007 10:15 AM EDT

A Mageseeker [5x655] (+94) owned by Ekeke (Ekeke)

Well, it seems he has quite a decent Mageseeker, combined with a very high DX a TOA and archery it could very well hit you imho...

lostling September 29 2007 10:55 AM EDT

2.6mill vs 700k worth of dex is = no dex advantage?

Mikel [Bring it] September 29 2007 11:13 AM EDT

It's coming from the PtH from the ToA and the MSK. You can have a better dex, but that doesn't mean that the PtH won't overcome that.

I get out dexed by a couple of people, but I still hit them, just not as frequently as I would if my dex wasn't weakened.

Have you tried some DB's to help with reducing their PtH?

AdminQBnovice [Cult of the Valaraukar] September 29 2007 11:33 AM EDT

He's got 169 minus to hit as it is, dbs won't add but a couple of points...

Maybe the ToA does need the weak stacking treatment, it's lame as hell, but it would fix things.

lostling September 29 2007 11:58 AM EDT

considering max dex gap he gets 0 PTH and his bow is 94

169-94 = 75 PTH
thats the minimum PTH he is getting from the TOA... would not you call that a tad excessive? considering i have not factored in the 90% CTH from an MSB and the evasion boost at the last ranged round of 1.33

lostling September 29 2007 12:06 PM EDT

i tried Evasion: 2,685,000/1,500,000 (170) and i still get hit -.- so tell me whats the problem now?

lostling September 29 2007 12:52 PM EDT

=\ jon?

AdminShade September 29 2007 1:26 PM EDT

If you tried a higher evasion but it didn't work, then the problem is purely PTH related and not DX...

lostling September 29 2007 2:26 PM EDT

TOA = overpowered PTH thats about it i guess

QBRanger September 29 2007 2:31 PM EDT

Lost at (170) in the last missile round your minus in PTH is 170 x 1.33 = 226.

Quite a lot of Pth on that TOA.

lostling September 29 2007 2:39 PM EDT

refer to previous reply =x

lostling September 30 2007 9:05 AM EDT

Evasion: 2,774,500/1,550,000 (172) AND I STILL GET HIT -.- like whats up

QBRanger September 30 2007 9:15 AM EDT

172 x 1.33 = 229

His MsB is 108, not named.

Assuming he is using normal arrow:

229-108=121 ---> the Pth on the TOA. Assuming base arrows.

Personally I use +5 arrows, which if he used would be a 106 PTH on the TOA.

lostling September 30 2007 9:17 AM EDT

so is it just me or does TOA give a crap load of PTH

QBRanger September 30 2007 9:23 AM EDT

No, it is not just you.

I kind of like novice's idea about adding its NW or a fraction thereof to the PTH of the weapon to determine the new PTH.

lostling September 30 2007 9:24 AM EDT

a hit in 1st round congratz =\ now i cant do crap
