Suggestion: Cancel CM (in General)

[P]Mitt November 21 2007 7:48 PM EST

I was wondering if it would be in the general interest of the community here to have an option to cancel a CM that is sending, but the recipient hasn't received.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that has sent a CM to someone, saying that I'm interested in buying an item they're selling, only to realize that 1) I don't have enough money or 2) Somebody else is selling the same item for cheaper.
A "cancel unreceived CM" function would not only be useful in this way, but also when players CM multiple admins if they need urgent help - after all, not all admins are on 24/7. But once an admin has responded, wouldn't it make sense to cancel the unreceived CMs to the OTHER admins - after all, not sending anything after the conflict was resolved would only serve to confuse the other admins, and an extra "Oh, never mind, I got it fixed" would serve to clutter up their other chatmails?

Just an innocent suggestion to make life easier :)

I like it. Then I can send Edy all kinds of derogatory chatmails and not ever have to have him read them.

[RX3]Cotillion November 21 2007 9:31 PM EST

It makes sense. Why not?

Fanta [Fanta's Forge] November 21 2007 9:54 PM EST

Yeah, sounds good.

QBRanger November 21 2007 9:57 PM EST

I'm for it.

48xVanished48 November 21 2007 10:11 PM EST

Good idea.

Eurynome Bartleby [Bartleby's] November 21 2007 10:15 PM EST

This would save me the annoyance of having the CMS I send to newbies stay on my CM page for a whole week, when I know full well that they will never get answered.

Reduces the clutter. Makes sense.

Nice!

BootyGod November 22 2007 3:39 AM EST

Good idea =D

BluBBen November 22 2007 3:57 AM EST

It's a really good idea, please Jon?

Wasp November 22 2007 4:00 AM EST

Not a half bad idea. I've had a few times where they haven't received it but the message is "outdated" IE a situation is changed rendering the message pointless.

Good idea!!

Flamey November 22 2007 4:06 AM EST

Sounds good :)

Dark Dreky November 22 2007 1:50 PM EST

Yep. I like it. =)

[P]Mitt November 23 2007 11:54 AM EST

What kind of chance do we have to see this being implemented?

{cb1}Linguala November 23 2007 3:25 PM EST

unless the CM system uses a similar system to that of minion training/untraining, not much I think...

Flamey November 23 2007 8:05 PM EST

Why would the CM system be near the training system?

Lord Bob November 23 2007 10:28 PM EST

This is an excellent idea.

j'bob November 24 2007 5:26 AM EST

(golf clap) very good indeed.

Xenko November 24 2007 1:22 PM EST

I've wanted this ability for a while. Hope it gets implemented.

[P]Mitt December 9 2007 7:02 PM EST

RedWolf December 10 2007 7:44 PM EST

BootyGod December 10 2007 7:48 PM EST
