What new changes can we expect to find in 2008!? Any Ideas?

We'll have to remember to put "2008" on everything.
Britney Spears will get pregnant again.
Armageddon will be 4 years away, instead of 5.
I was actually referring to CB but that works to oddbird..

CB3
Do you think we need CB3?

I've just had to explain to my daughters today at dinner why Britney's little sister Zoe101 (aged 16) is pregnant.
Yes, I did say "why", not "how". Seemingly they know the "how" part already...
Sheesh.
yeahh.. thats ridiculous I hope her show gets canceled.

should be a pretty basic response : "Because she's stupid, and her parents didn't care about her upbringing, like I care about yours' ".

zoe101? I thought Britney's sister's name was Lynn... ?

Jamie Lynn Spears - "It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected," she says. "I was in complete and total shock and so was he."
She didn't realize that the act of reproduction created BABIES?

I'm hoping for a change in damage...
Oh wait, this is a thread about that Spears moron. Silly me.

Aye, a change in Ranged damage!
LoL G, they grow up so fast... ;)
In 2008, and mind you, not in January. I'm thinking more "by the end of 2008".
Mark my words! (Or don't, if I am not right on anything, so I can deny having said all this.)
-CB will become Facebook/cell phone compatible. Completely. This will make it ten times as famous as it is now.
-Jon's game admin capabilities will be put to the test. The admins work will be more debated than ever. (And probably undeservingly so, too.) No longer will we be able to recognize 99% of the population of CB by name. But chat will be very alive. Oh, and never again will we hear about there being too many QBs.
-Ranger will have to defend his title fiercely, which I will enjoy witnessing :)
-The top 10 will change every week.
-The average age of CBers will drop by 5 years. Grammar will commit suicide.
-Changes will be made monthly.
-We are not getting : Ponies, pants of guns. Sorry guys, you'll have to continue fighting for them :)
-Runescape will die an agonizing death at the hands of CB. Downside is we will be getting all it's player base.
-I will have grown even more cynical than I am now.
...I'm done for now :P

I like the idea of your 2nd post from the bottom. ^_^

Oh, dear god, I hope the second one never occurs. I've had to drop more than one game because of bad grammar <___<. Community is just as important as gameplay for me :D.
Not being here long at all, I'm not sure what to expect. I'm HOPING there will be a couple new spells to play around with, as those are always.. interesting to see introduced, especially with all the debate threads about unbalancing the game and such.

And, by 'second one', I mean fifth one ;x.
I think you will find that you joined just in time to see things get very interesting, Forsaken :)
Of course, I could be wrong.

I wish you are right Ash. More players the better. More new player = bigger market = more liquidity = more demand. Trading would be so much more fun :)
britney's kid sister (16!!!!!!) will have a baby in 2008

Well if CB does inherit the morons of the 'net I can see some serious whack'a'mole going on in chat.
Personally I would like to volunteer to /kick and /kill any an all spamming, profanity spewing, l33t speaking idiots who try to devolve our precious community.
Kids today need some education from 'the school of hard knocks' and I'm looking for tenure.
Eh, me thinks I doth sound old and bitter.
On two quasi-unrelated notes:
1. I'm glad I'm not in G_Beee's shoes having to explain that one...
2. I just can't believe they canceled Britney's mom's parenting book. Relabeling it and sticking it in the comedy section would have made much more sense.

I don't want a pony in 2008. It turns out that they eat doghouses and bite :P
I'll just go to my old fall back request for 2008, an Abrams tank.
Just try and stop my depleted uranium armor-piercing frag shells, you 477 AC walls! Muwahahahahahahaha!!!!

I'll have a Rickenbacker 330 in Midnight Blue for my tank please. And a new skill: Jangle.
"CB will become Facebook/cell phone compatible. Completely. This will make it ten times as famous as it is now. "
god, that would be frightening. Could you imagine how many more bots we will have? I really like this community, I don't like the idea of CB being overrun by 10 year olds spamming the forums with "Help me Plz!"
-sigh-
"-The average age of CBers will drop by 5 years. Grammar will commit suicide." Oh, goody! Just what I was looking forward too, kids that are my own age actually playing CB!
I say we just ban anyone who talks in l33t, or can't spell "you".

Things i want:
1. Make Evasion decay by 10% per round.
2. A Mage Shield.
3. Ranged physical damage nerf.
4. Customize our home page, or at least set it back to Equip.
5. Make rare items rare again, and fix all the "pointless" items so that they become viable for low-mid level chars to use up until the upper-middle ranks.
6. For point 5 to work, we'll probably need to -partially- go back to the old weapon damage upgrade scale. This time have the upgrade costs start out very low and increase by a fixed amount per x instead of remaining constant. Example: A Morgul-Hammer costs 512 to go from x1-x2, 1024 to x3, 1536 to x4, and so on. x50 would cost 25088. This allows new chars to add a bit of "oomph" to their smaller weapons at a less than devastating cost, and discourages the prevailing "just save up for a rare instead" attitude.
7. A pizza.
