Well.... (in General)

InebriatedArsonist has joined the room.

<Epiphany> Run for your lives!
<InebriatedArsonist> You first.
-- You have been kicked out of carnage by InebriatedArsonist

That was the extent of my interaction with him tonight. I'd talk to him in PM, but historically, he just ignores me. Historically, he kicks me. Alot.

Yeah. It's just a kick. But it gets old, when I can't speak because he's in the room, because he'll kick me if bored/drunk/ or just feeling like it.

Not sure why I'm making the thread. Maybe I'm missing something and I deserved that kick? Let me know, please, and thanks ^.^

BootyGod January 25 2008 3:55 AM EST

I would like to note I didn't make this thread on the spur of the moment. I've asked him many times not to kick me for no reason. I told him I'd make a thread eventually if he kept it up. And I've ignored it many times... It just got old. Sorry.

{cb1}Linguala January 25 2008 4:23 AM EST

In all honesty, I don't see a reason for a kick.
But in all honesty, a kick only lasts 60 seconds...still, /me is also curious about the reason for that kick

QBJohnnywas January 25 2008 4:54 AM EST

maybe it's just affection. Some sort of unrequited love thing.

BootyGod January 25 2008 4:58 AM EST

He needs to buy me dinner first, thank you! ;P

Wasp January 25 2008 10:02 AM EST

A kick my last 60 seconds but it's not the point. Kicking people for no apparent reason is in my opinion offensive. I try to avoid kicking people as much as possible because I am not trigger happy. If someone breaks the rules a warning/kick is fair and in-line. Thats my two shiny pennies.

Flamey January 25 2008 10:09 AM EST

*cough* 30 seconds *cough*

AdminQBnovice [Cult of the Valaraukar] January 25 2008 12:10 PM EST

I love you GW, but don't poke badgers with spoons.

You've played this game enough to know...
You're also the only person I've seen kick IA.

The kick fests that happen in chat once in a while are good fun, this is merely an extension of that.

BootyGod January 25 2008 12:14 PM EST

Novice, I understand not to poke badgers with spoons...

But while I may be the only person, he kicks me once or twice a week. It's not an extension of a kick fest. In those kick fests, I get opped and I kick and I get kicked and we all have fun. In that situation, he was bored, and he kicked me because it's me.

You see him kick me instead of others because he dislikes me. It's not because I'm breaking rules more often. There was no spoon in that above conversations. There was just IA's dislike of me.

Not fun. Not a game.

AdminQBnovice [Cult of the Valaraukar] January 25 2008 12:39 PM EST

<Epiphany> Run for your lives! <-- this isn't even a spoon, it's a spork.

I get what you're saying... but at the same time the bigger the deal this becomes the larger the problem is. It's your persistence that sometimes puts folks off of you.

BootyGod January 25 2008 12:54 PM EST

I don't want to feel like I can't talk in chat because of an op who dislikes me. It was a joke. I've said it to others.

He is supposed to be a responsible adult. Right now, my only options are to just deal with being kicked, or to stop coming to chat. That's not exactly right, is it?

GummyBear January 25 2008 12:58 PM EST

Well in my opinion, even if being "poked by a spork" he should have good judgment and respect the face that Epiphany has asked him not to kick him for no reason. He's getting special privileges, shouldn't he be using them appropriately?

My two pennies

GummyBear January 25 2008 12:59 PM EST

fact* not face :P

GummyBear January 25 2008 1:07 PM EST

By the way, I don't mean any offense towards IA, just my opinion on the situation

AdminQBnovice [Cult of the Valaraukar] January 25 2008 1:09 PM EST

You joked with him, he responded... you didn't think his joke was funny.

I'll admit it's not as friendly as it could be, but it's still a joke.

Laugh and move on...

BootyGod January 25 2008 1:11 PM EST

Oh? Why is there never laughter? If I told him I don't find it funny, why keep joking? Why does he keep doing it? This isn't a one time thing, and that's the problem, novice...

Max January 25 2008 1:20 PM EST

This is going on far too long. If you have a n issue email an admin about it. Otherwise, point taken and case should be closed.

BootyGod January 25 2008 1:30 PM EST

I don't care if my point is taken. I'm not doing this for acknowledgement. I'm doing this on the hope that something will change. Not exactly an unreasonable hope, either. I didn't want to do this. And I've done everything else (yes, I have spoken to admins privately) and nothing changed (obviously). So, here we are.

QBRanger January 25 2008 1:33 PM EST

Max is completely right.

If you have a problem with a chat op, CM an admin.

Stop posting about it. People typically do not know the true story/chatlog and start to give baseless opinions or just cmine in with useless commentary.

TheHatchetman January 25 2008 1:42 PM EST

TV Dinner Salisbury Steak sucks!

BootyGod January 25 2008 2:07 PM EST

Lol. Nice obscure reference. How fitting ^.^
