I had refreshed my tool bar to get a current BA check, and all I got was 4BA. I was at 24 BA before I refreshed my tool bar and I'm supposed to get 8BA/20min. So if I did my math correctly I went from 24BA to 28 BA in 20min when I am suppose to go from 24BA to 32BA. It has been a random thing here and there, but I thought I would finally come out and say something about it.
Gist of everything... I got 4BA/20min
Anyone else have this BA dilemma?
Any theories to why this happens?
It's happened to me before too. I've gotten anywhere from 2 to 9 BA and I have a 7/20 refresh so I don't worry about it.
often has these BA hiccups around tournament times

Yeah I've experienced it before as well

I get it too once in a while. Sometimes I get no BA at all.

read "Is it possible to get less BA than I normally would at refresh time?" here: http://www.carnageblender.com/faq/one?scope=public&faq_id=140
I never noticed this prior to the change from /10 to /20.
I even calculated the time necessary on the /10 rate and it was always stable.
Ever since the switch to /20, it is no longer stable and hasn't been since. Every time I tried to calculate it on the /20 rate, it was always less than I was supposed to have.

As long as it's less across the boards, seems fair enough... Explains how often I log in with 159 BA (159/7 = 22.7 refreshes)... now if we can only get that missing 7/20 buyable BA :P
but that is where it goes wrong.
If you keep it spent, I almost always notice that I get 6 more.
It's when you try to accumulate some that you get odd results.

Q: Is it possible to get less BA than I normally would at refresh time?
A: Yes; when your BA is (re)loaded for various reasons you will get BA proportional to the amount of time passed; it is possible to get fractional amounts of the normal refresh rate this way.
---
I'm not talking about a premature reload though. There are times when 20 minutes goes by and I get less than 8, sometimes nothing. It's rare, but it happens.

If it was a fractional refresh, then you would get the rest of your BA at the end of the refresh period. The thing is that I am not getting all of my BA. I get the fractional refresh, and that is it.
It never seems to amaze me how concerned people are over missing ba....
i understand what jon wrote, but agree with mikel here and something else is at play. i often calculate, this morning most recently, how much ba i will have when i come back after a few hours. very often it is off by a dozen, sometimes even around 20 ba.
if however, i am here and fighting my ba as i get it, every 2 refreshes at least, then i do not seem to be losing ba. i think the problem is probably hurting those who cannot use their ba through the day more than those who can. it did seem to happen before the 10 minute to 20 minute change, but i think the problem was less noticeable then and has been doubled as well now.

I've noticed that too, especially in the six hours I save up for krazy money nights.
