What's your preferred drink? (in Off-topic)
So I'm just sitting here tonight catching up on the Forums drinking my usual, a Crown Royal and Coke, and wondering what other CBers prefer. Well, if you don't mind letting me and the world know. What do you like to drink?
Milk, especially chocolate. Or Pop. Sometimes fruit juice.
I'm not old enough to have alcohol. Even if I was, I still probably wouldn't have any. I'm like the anti-GB.
Guinness. Or Costa-Rican dark roast from Anodyne if I'm having coffee

I like Dr. Skipper, nothing beats his prescription for tooth decay!

Jones Soda - Cream Soda Flavor, in the bottle.
You gotta have the one with corn syrup, not the one with pure cane flavoring.

Juuiiice. :D
Coffee, no alcohol in it. Lots and lots of coffee. I even roast my own beans.
Alcoholic? Cherry Powerade and Vanilla Bacardi or Amaretto on the rocks with a nice cigar.

Coffee! And sometimes COFFEE.
If I have to drink water I just throw a few whole coffee beans in it.
I can't say I have a drink as far as the boozahol goes. There are a few varieties of liquor I actually enjoy, but even that is limited.
I am however a very large Coca-Cola fan (glass bottles as a treat, but mostly cans)... it's going to be the death of me now that I've given up my more entertaining/disgusting vices...

hmmm...i love juice. cranberry and orange are favorites. maybe sometimes apple juice. on the alcoholic side, i like American beers, regular or lite
for hard stuff, vodka especially grey goose
If we're talking liquor, then I prefer either Irish Coffee or Scotch and Coke.
To be honest I only drink water in the morning or while working then I drink booze. Doesn't matter. As I am exceedingly broke right now it is a 12 pack of Milwaukee's Best Ice for the night and a pint of Old Thompson whiskey.

I mix it up... Bourbon, rum, or Scotch all work fine (straight or rocks for the B and S, with diet cherry coke for the run). Or, I mix it up with some mead of my own design (running dangerously low, more in the carboy, thank goodness). Then it's the beer. I feel sheepish saying it, but I always come back to Milwaukee's Best Light. Cheap, light, and like water. Great finisher.

I prefer Jack and Coke. Unfortunately I'm fresh out of Jack right now.
water is wonderful, i also have recently discovered peppermint tea, it is great.
for beers i like shiner bock
as for the harder stuff, i love a good homemade margarita, no mix here, with plenty of fresh squeezed lime juice.
red wine is pretty darned good as well.

Non alcoholic: Diet Dr. Pepper
Alcoholic: Black Adder (Guinness and apple cider) vs Stoli/Cranberry. Depending on my mood.

My homemade wine. One glass a day keeps the doctor away and my taste buds happy.
non alcoholic = water
alcoholic = 4 fingers of Jamesons in a tumbler with 3 ice cubes

-You should feel sheepish about that one. Beast is for kids who don't know better. When I drink it I'm reminded of playing pong in the dank, dingy basement of my brother's fraternity. At least drink Beast Ice, more bang for your buck.

Bacardi Gold Rum and Coke for me, although a Crown and Coke is also good too.

Laphroaig for single malt, J&B for blended. Sometimes neat, sometimes on the rocks, depending on my mood.
Neat brandy is also very good, but I haven't found a favourite brand yet.
I've been trying to stock a personal bar, and have tried various cocktails, but nothing's as good as plain 'ole Scotch.
I discovered Scrumpy Jack cider over in London, which is very good, but I don't think I can get it here. For beer, the local Pumphouse makes excellent microbrews. The big name beers are horrible.
For non-alcoholic: coffee in the morning, grapefruit juice, herbal, green and black teas, and water. Can't stand pop.

JW Gold Label on the rocks, Jager Bombs, or Miller Lite. God bless college!
Be specific, Bast. Is it the Lady Godiva chocolate martini, the chocolate orange martini, the white blizzard martini, the mint patty martini, the funky monkey chocolate banana martini, or the out in the milky way martini?

For any of you who had any doubt that thrak was an alcoholic (or) bartender,
PROOF (lol, proof, drink thread, he he he)
j/k thrak, i was just amazed at your list.
Recently I've been drinking a lot of Pineapple Peach Mango Dole Juice.

IA, I drink the Light for that reason -- fewer calories. The Ice sort of defeats that purpose.
If I wanted "bang", I'd stick with the Kentucky Tavern for the duration, wouldn't I? *smile*

Alcohol: Tequila, Hornitos or Patron (but not a heavy drinker)
Juice: Pineapple or Coconut(fresh)
Soda: Squirt
Water: Fiji
Everytime i ask myself, Rum or Beer?
In most places its beer as cheap rum is pretty nasty, and bacardi is cheap. Sailor Jerry with coke and fresh lime squeezed in is hard to beat.
If its beer then smithwicks if they have it or for something easier to get, sam adams is always a good idea:D

Jim Beam and Brandy does it for me. That's one drink by the way, equal measures of both, with a bit of ice. Surprisingly smooth.
Otherwise, lager, cider, whiskey, rum, tequila, vodka all get a look in.
Mango juice for non-alcholic. And tea. Lots of tea.

well, my non-alcoholic drink is Coke! Can't live without it.. Altough I also enjoy a cold glass of water from time to time =)
For alcoholic drinks I prefer White Russians or a cold beer
The cold one is the one for me, because the cold one is a one, I take two ones or even three ones, after the ones I like the bacardi cola to finish me off.
And any kind of cocktail is good :)

My brother just accepted a job at a leading manufacturer and importer of spirits. Give me a few weeks to find out what's my favorite drink is ;)
His previous job was with an importer of special beers. My favorites so far are
Liefmans Goudenband and
Maredsous 6.

Man, talk about diametric opposites to Milwaukee's Best Light! That's some fancy stuff, bart!
Non alcoholic: Diet Pepsi / Orange coloured Oasis
Alcoholic: Most real Ales / Staropramen
Oh I must mention;
King Cobra
The worldメs first double fermented lager, King Cobra is presented in a champagne-style bottle and available in 750 ml and 375 ml sizes
One bottle of this gets me plastered. ;)
Definetly one to experience. ;)
