Actually...
if you look at the crack just above the bend you can see that there appears to be something in there. There is. It is the corpse of an un-hatched Mini-Crack! These miniscule terrors are what spawned the legend of the Kracken. They would hatch and for the 9 hours of their short life eat anything and everything they came upon, often going thru upwards of 100 x's their weight in sea flesh. Nothing was safe. They then turned to sea-weed and the circle of life continued. And yes, it does look like driftwood. That is where the legend of "driftwood" came from also. What you seen in that picture is in fact the best preserved M-C egg ever found.

Are you guys serious ? I mean, that is so obviously a mattabooboo. There really is no further need for discussion.

You people are missing the real picture here. It's obviously a bad attempt at laying your own oak floor. That floor is so bodged it looks like I might have actually done a better job myself, and I've bodged a fair few things.
This is clearly a device used by Captain Caveman during his secret identity phase as Caveman Proctologist.

I have three guesses for what it is:
Arm and hand making a shadow puppet
A duck
A snake

It's not a mattabooboo. Its a ooboobattam. Your looking at it backwards. Apparently I have too many misspelled words so I have to make this longer so I can post.

mattabooboo should really be added to the spellcheck dictionary.

I would have to say that is the saggiest fossilized boob ever.
Perhaps it is a mattabooboo, as Beee puts it...perhaps it is an ooboobattam, like Voldune believes...but the point is that there is clearly a boob right in the middle.
Yep, the more I look at it, the more I am sure. You can see where it goes up to form a shoulder joint and collarbone, and then down to where it connects to the hips. I think it belonged to a midget.
And you people thought you knew the human skeletal system. Ask a REAL expert next time.

That particular item is the charred right elbow of one of my minions after being hit by Freed's big old SoD with uber explosive shot.
With the exception of that elbow the minions were vapourized (or close too it)
It remains as a tribute to fallen comrades ~sniff~

If the time machine machine from H.G. Wells' novel had been made mostly from bone and sinew, that piece of drift wood would be the business end of a bone control lever.
a piece of petrified bone!
and the winner is.....
OB
Congratulations, and thanks to all who participated.
I'm sorry but I don't see what OB sees at all, and I'm still sticking with my entry..
Besides, look at this
page.
About half way down, theres a picture of your device to scale with the Enterprise, and it clearly says in a tiny star trek font: DOOMSDAY MACHINE! Ah HA!
