does not training archery only affect dex base CTH? or total CTH?
Does it affect PTH at all?
According to the wiki, it says base, I'm getting mixed answers here.
It makes me wonder because I know that Ranger kills defensive dex, so why does he train archery, if archery only affects dex ratio?
I ran a team where I would drain al DX and still couldn't hit more than 40% or so of the time with full DX advantage and a +50 bow ^_^

Without archery, I do not hit any decent evasion minions.
I also only hit NWO's familiar with its 0 evasion 2 times instead of the 4 times with archery.

If you have any dex advantage, you need archery. Dex advantage gives cth, archery gives you your full cth. I still need archery with my 40k dex because I can get twice the hits on familiars.

archery affect TOTAL CTH from dex AND PTH...
example
150 PTh from bow
60 PTH from dex
150 + 60 = 210
using a mageseeker with archery = 210 x 0.9 = 189 total CTH
using a mageseeker or elb without archery = 210 x 0.2 = 42 total CTH
using an elb with archery = 210 x 1 = 210

I don't think that's true lostling. You can hit 100 percent of the time with a +100 pth bow against no evasion/dbs.

if thats the way it is then is obvious why evasion is the way it is
Obviously it's because we have an epidemic of archers running around without archery. They're just all over the place.
