Okay...i'm about 5'5...I weigh about 130...what size db should I get...I have rode them before so I know how to ride...i want one that is comfortable...i just dont know what size to get...
Yamaha YZ250F.
Perfect size and enough power to have plenty of fun with. They run for just under $7,000 brand new for the 2009, but you can find older version for far far less cash. Best 250 out there in my eyes.
I personally would rather get a crotch rocket though.
thanks...im just waiting until i get my motorcycle licenses...
i was going to get a nice street bike...but i decided to make my dirtbike street legal so when i run from the cops i can go off-road...lol
I usually find +100 DBs to be the most comfortable before it becomes downright expensive...
i had a 110 but it was too small..and the 125 is to big
if your planing on doing alot of road driving you might want a bigger bike. A 125 is tiny unless its a two stroke, and if it is a four stroke it probably wont be able to hit normal road speeds.
Just go to a dealer and try out a few bikes and see how they feel. Dont buy it unless it fits you.
Buy a car. It'll protect you from the police jack-knifing you to block your off-road endeavor.
Honestly, boys... safety over fun. Just wait til you need a car and realize you spent that money on your dirtbike. >_>

I disagree on so many levels. Plus they are not necessarily mutually exclusive.
Call me the wet blanket, then... but I much prefer the idea of the people I know NOT becoming intimately acquainted with the pavement because of one bad driver... >_>
I've known too many people who have life-altering results from riding motorcycles/dirtbikes. And they were all safe drivers, it was the other drivers that caused it. >_>

Thats my view totally. You could be the safest motorcycle driver the country ever saw... all it takes is one person to not see you. Bang. You're in a wheel chair for the rest of your life. Cars are safer. Besides they are more comfortable and can hold friends too : ).

But they don't drive off-road (as well) and from what I can understand, that's what he's looking for.

Mala also spoke of driving it on the road. If you're looking to go off road on dirt tracks then yes, get a dirt bike lol.
yeah...i want to do both...honda has some bikes that are both off- and- on road...i think im getting one of those
