Will the price of CB drop to 1 buck per million? (in General)

Personally I think it has stabilized, however I have a bet with someone about it.
What are your thoughts?
And remember before the NUB was so high how the price was stable at 10 per?
its still going down
when i joined in late August it was 3.00 to 1m now its 1.85 per 1m

If it does I'm loading up.
Even at the end of CB1 the price never dropped below 2 per (IIRC).
I could however see things drop much further if the economy goes completely...

But Bob, what would you spend it on?
With ENC one can only spend so much.
And if a mage, there is basically nothing you can spend it on, at least that is what I read all the time from mages.

Perhaps to stroke demand we need to create another money sink--
Paying for tattoo levels.
I was against it at one time, however I have changed my mind on the subject.
i could spend 85m right now on my NSC and 9m for hiring my fourth minion
It's hard to fill up the encumbrance on a single tank. I know this from experience. Even at 2m MPR it's difficult to keep your funds up with your enc.

I agree ranger. The economy could really use another money sink, in my opinion a useful one would be tat inking.

How about paying to respec your stats? That is, as the xp increases you pay a price not to lose a % of that exp when you respec. I think that would be a viable 'cash sink.'
I think the market is a bit saturated. Too many sell outs and too few USD buyers

"But Bob, what would you spend it on?"
Believe me, my items could use a MAJOR beefing without even hitting the enc limit.
And BA.
Never once have I had an abundance of cash in this game. Never.

"Never once have I had an abundance of cash in this game. Never. "
I'm with you on that one... :(
nor have i.
as far as cash sinks go, why would jon create another when he can just tweak the ones we have by increasing heal costs or decreasing rewards?
the real question though is why should we stoke demand for cb? that just encourages people to sell out. if cb is ubiquitous, then people will just keep their gear and be ready for when they come back to playing.

We don't need another across the board cash sink. We need more spending options for non-tanks.
Like I said, from my perspective (and Johnny's apparently), there is no abundance of cash in this game. If you want to lose your money so bad, give it to me.. uh, I mean us (I really mean me).

Make it so there is an option to fire your minions but retain the exp from the fired minion, spread onto the other remaining minions. The exp loss from untraining will prevent abuse from paying to fire and then hiring new ones, ending up to be a wash in exp.
^ NO.
People who go multi-minion should be forced to stick to their choice. That's why hiring is so expensive and firing so detrimental. And no, retraining by no means will prevent people from going on a hiring/firing spree.
I can see it now: Everyone starts with 4 minions, grows it like crazy. Then fires everyone to single minion. Then hires for an unstoppable team. Meanwhile top teams are burning USD like no other to become gigantic two minion teams with a HUGE minion and a newly hired enchanter. Great.

Hey, there's that moneysink you guys were looking for.
Eventually there won't be enough CBD in the game left to sell to keep it up.

I actually hope it does drop down to $1 per Mil cause then I can load up!
I hope not. As it is I already lost a lot in my investment of my big tattoo. I bought it originally for $412.50, and with the way things are going, the price I'll actually be able to sell it for will drop like a brick, even if I continue to grow it.
"And remember before the NUB was so high how the price was stable at 10 per?"
Wasn't that right at the start of CB2? Hasn't it been decending ever since?
But I agree with LB and Johnny. I've never had any sort of amount of Cash to my name (Probably becuase i've never bought any/much with USD), and I certainly couldn't ever afford to run a competitive NCB. The 6 months I use (or waste) on one to get me cash would see the BA cost increase more anyway.
Vicious Circle.
"But Bob, what would you spend it on?"
NCB BA Costs. Minions. Expensive non supporter Rares that go for 10 mil base.

Well boo. I wish I was told that before I stuck to what I'm usin
So, with these people, and many more out there, all short of money, where is all this excess money causing these low CB$ prices coming from?
I think we can all agree on the answer. There's also an obvious solution to that answer, although not everybody here would agree to that, for reasons unknown to me.
Tyriel, could you be a little less unambiguous? I not only do not know the answer to your question, I don't know what solution you're talking about.
Me thinks he is talking about just eliminating the NUB, since most sellouts are NUB sellouts, and maybe even multis. Bold statement I must say, BOLD.

lol since my nub is almost up anyways even if nub was removed it wouldn't really affect me much.

gasp!
You mean the NUB, multis, sellouts....such controversial words and acronyms are the SOURCE of rapidly dropping CB/USD ratios?
I mean call me crazy OB, it's just like. Oh wow, two plus two really does equal four.
I agree the NUB has increased supply and probably hastened the decline of the usd/CB rate though its effect on demand is impossible for me to quantify at all meaningfully. The general trend is likely to be downward with or without the nub.
will it go to 1:1? I'd guess it will stabilize around there sometime. You could probably get it for 1.5 now if you buy enough.
I hope it drops to .5 USD per 1mil CBD, then I'm buying!
