i used to play cb1 a few years back, but got a job that prevented me from playing enough so i quit. now i'm back and i feel like such a noob again. well cheers to all.

actually i've checked that out and the only thing i'm having a problem with is the chat. i remember cb1 having a chat frame at the bottom, is there not such a thing on cb2?

As I recall, you have to finish tutorial for chat to appear.

As they were saying, you need to pass the tutorial in order to get into chat :)
hmm, but all it keeps saying is to train a mage, and i have one. well i will try and figure that out.
