That could mean 5 things:

1: you got very very ill
2: you got promotion and earned a day off
3: you got the sack and was fired
4: you got a kid, congrats!
5: you won a million or a few more and quit your job.

5k jobs nationwide have been cut at my company.

Some of the people at my work have been getting so stressed from it that they are unable to function at work. You tell them something and 10 minutes later they have no idea what you just said.

I'm sure hoping the economy picks up soon. I really hate the idea of bailing out the big companies.

These bail outs are taking too long for anyone to feel the effects from it. I have a bail out plan that would've been very good, but congress would never have passed it.

sucks man. i got laid off in may. they could have at least had the decency to do it at the end of the day, but instead they did it right when i got there. drive was an hour each way :P

but now you're free, plenty of options you didn't have before. just gotta look right :)
