I would have guessed as it does not give AC and your junction is 1.0 already.
But at least we tried!
i was hoping for a small bonus to the junctioned stats like 5 to 10 percent. i am always the optimist though!

But a more key point:
Are you noticing more damage with a BL JKF?
I saw this before in (the AoJ Changelog Thread/ or Chat I forget) about the various +1, +2, +3 for them. The argument was that everyone would vie for the +10 but if they thought it through they could get a +9 and name it for the same effect. Others wondered if they could be named @ +10 to get the 110% effect some one else had already tried no dice. This naming however was supposed to be before the Change from Supporter item to spawned item. Go Figure Jon gives us what we want and throws us a Curveball.......lol It was bound to happen Jon is tricky like that :)
i don't want to retrain the big chunk of xp i have in as to get the correct ratio but am growing the bloodlust now. it is just slow and i am only at around 27k where i should be at over 500k. maybe i can do some testing after i get to the full effect.
if naming is not going to give a bonus, we need a dev to edit the naming page and explain that it will not get a bonus due to naming. we can edit the wiki section but not the actual blacksmith naming page.
I redid some of that page. I moved some text around, clarified a bit, put in some headings, and noted that some items don't give you a bonus when named.

the very 1st thing that i asked jon afte the AoJs is does naming effect them, he said no and it was added to the AoJ description, perhaps read that prior to spending the money?
i added that to the description after creating this thread steve.
ns, i would suggest listing the items that give no bonus in bold typeface to prevent future complaints.
I don't want to have yet another list that's always out of date. It's clear the way it is that naming might not affect a bonus.

if that is not a good solution, could we have items that garner no bonus not show up in the drop down for naming?

What items do we presently have where naming does nothing to its inate (special) effect?
AoJ (no bonus to effect or AC)
HoC (Bonus only to AC)
SB (Bonus only to AC)
AoI (? bonus to the evasion effect)
BoE (Bonus only to AC)
TSA (Bonus to AC and str, no bonus to regeneration)
Any others I am missing?
Seems that the only item where naming gives absolutely no positive at all is the AoJ. All others do give a little bonus, +1 AC for the HoC and SB, with more AC for the TSA and BoE. The AoI naming bonus effect is not known for sure by me.

I would have little problem having the AoJ be +9 normally and +10 (full effect) with naming.
Yes, this appears counter to my posts about the AoJ before, however, if you really want to name it, you can find a way. And +9 is a lot different then trying to find a +9 or +10 one the old way.
or add some ac, or something for naming. i would think this would be the easiest solution and the more lucrative one as well.
rather give people a reason to spend more money than have them upset because they got nothing for money spent.
wiki says this about the aoi:
Get a 4% bonus to the "DB" effect when named.

ah didnt know u were the one who edited it, shame that u wernt in chat when i asked jon immediately after he restarted the auctions :/
it has taken over six years for me to wish i was in chat, i guess that isn't too bad, especially tempered with the fact that i would've still had to been paying attention at just the right time! ; )
As asked for, AoJ is now +9, naming makes it +10.
Now to make the AoJ work....
