My first thoughts on the AoJ (in General)

I like it. A lot, a real lot.

The ability to use a skill really diversifies the game.

It gives single minion familiar users a lot of ways to customize their character. Use evasion vs PL vs archer vs bloodlust tank.

What I do not like is the relative scarcity of these amulets. I would like to see another 50 put into auctions. I see a few in rentals now and that really upsets me. The first set should have been for people who would actually use them, not for speculators to resell or rent.

However nothing could be done to prevent these things from occurring.

The lack of using an AoF with the familiar is something a lot of us knew would happen. Or at least change. I believe now things are a bit more balanced, moving towards minions over familiar.

However, these are my initial thoughts on the AoJ and are 100% subject to change.

PS: Can we get AoJ added to the dictionary?

So you think we've gained flexibility with this then? What about enchantments and the like? Do they get junctioned?

(What would happen if you've an SG mage and an SG familiar? Would the DDs get stacked?)

Speculators will get the shaft soon enough... Junction is no longer to be the "flavor of the week", so the number of AoJs being spawned will quickly outpace the number of new users needing an AoJ, and consider that once junction users have their amulets, demand plummets... Prices bottom out. Best bet for AoJ owners that don't intend to use their AoJ within the next few months would be to sell it while it's got some decent value and people are still looking to buy...

Junction never junctioned DD spells.

Enchantments go on the familiar like any other minion.

Nothing changed with respect to how/what gets junctioned. However, one cannot not juction a familiar and get the super boost from the AoF with AS and most important the DD boost from the AoF.

There may be some bugs right now, but the theory behind the change seems good by me.

"(What would happen if you've an SG mage and an SG familiar? Would the DDs get stacked?) "

What happened before the AoJ was born and there was a junction skill?

Did DDs get stacked?

Question asked on the basis that I didn't know what got junctioned! Going back to sleep now. ;)

It doesn't seem like most skills are working as they should be (or what we would at least expect). Like UC is still getting the short end of the stick.

Yes,

My original post is based upon how I feel the game would be IF the skills would properly junction and the BoE was fixed.

Right now things are quite buggy.

But once they are fixed, I think the AoJ will be a welcome addition to the game.

I am just quite surprised it was not a supporter item. That way everyone who wanted/needed one would be able to get it, in quick time.

it sure makes you wonder what the next supporter item might be though!
