I say we should bring them back, the entire time of a new person's NUB they should have a mentor.
Kinda like novice is helping Idiotz to the top.

I think this would be great to reintroduce into the game. When I started I had no idea what I was doing, so I ended up wasting my NUB. Which makes it really hard to run a decent strategy.

I am a NUB and I would agree with having a mentor. I feel the first couple of weeks I wasted trying to get started. I did not know anyone at the time. But now anytime I have a question, I just ask and someone answers it. I did not know that I could ask people questions and people would be so helpful. Even if it was for a month or so, that would be a lot of help. Plus it may keep some NUB's from leaving the game so early.
Jon measured the plus of mentors only in a short term view,
but it seems that many great players here now had mentors at one point.
I think maybe it should be brought back as the long term plus's are very good compared.

That kinda sucks to know that the mentor program was going on when I joined, but I never got one :(
i know i look at that thread and it ended a week before i joined CB2, man if i could go back and get a mentor i would...
on that note, if any new ppl need help just talk to me somehow, in chat or CMs your choice
If you were here before the Mentor program was deleted, you HAD a mentor, they just didnt speak to you, or you back to them.
