As my first changelog post, I've given myself (and all the admins) the ability to post changelogs. That should make things a little easier.

Saves us the trouble of making a thread in General and then move it :)

I had thought all admins could make changelogs.
Nice change.
Admins could make a thread and then move it to Changelog forums, which is just as good :)
Actually I now know anyone can make a Changelog, but only admins have a link. Regular members don't have the link, so there should be a change to restrict access to Changelog for members.
Ok?? but I think I lost my ability to make a new thread of any kind :(
Maybe I am just too tired to figure out it tonight :(

Looks like I too have trouble creating new threads, in at least General and FS.
the Start New Thread button is gone from all for me

Didn't we already have the ability to make threads in Changelog? It's been a while since I've had the urge to make one, but I think it always did work as advertised?
Thank goodness NS is back. ;)
The link hasn't been there in a while, bart. I put it back for admins only.
If non-admins wish to exploit the lack of security in this area and post changelogs, they do so at their own peril.

Just give anybody messing with it a forum/chat ban for a period. Anybody posting probably won't want to lose the privilege.
Ok, so I blocked new thread creation in changelog if you aren't an admin.
I can confirm this, we can no longer create Changelogs.
This thread is closed to new posts.
However, you are welcome to reference it
from a new thread; link this with the html
