Single Mage with ToA
1/2 hp 1/2 SG and 1/5 Dispel Magic
-Trains SG
-Mageseeker
-Dispel Magic
The mage seeker will take out mages and will usually hit due to the fersure hits and what not
by the time it gets to SG will ownnnn.

a bit of a giggle, yes. but you'll be able to pour all your cash basically into your mageseeker because mage gear is all armor and basically tops out once you pour a few million into each piece. Not sure about the combo of DM and SG, sort of counterproductive.

maybe it's a ToA+RoE kinda thing deifeln :)
but this strat does sound pretty anti-mage

that is amusing indeed
However I think the character "Luke Skywalker" plays this anti-mage strategy even better.
Just hope the mage doesn't have any PL backing it up. It's a fun idea though. Go AMF instead of DM if you don't want a base decay ripping you to pieces.

yeah Anti-Magic field sounds good
but then theres GA to worry about but doesnt seem as bad x]

the thing is 1/5 DM won't be enough to take out GA. Which is why I reference Luke Skywalker. He uses the MSK in ranged to take out the mages, then uses RoBF to mop up (thus not having to worry about GA)
If you want to go DM you should go CoC. CoC deals with kill slots and is more likely to end battles quickly.

CoC would also help against mage teams with 2 or 3 enchanters and/or familiar backup. your bow would target mages while CoC would mop up all killslots quickly.
