AdminShade May 14 2009 1:56 PM EDT

Evasion is now 100 in combat

Named Steel Familiar: level 5,335,225

How to improve this? What to train?

AdminTal Destra May 14 2009 1:58 PM EDT

Run another NCB same exact strategy to try to lvl your SF more, the bigger the better

QBRanger May 14 2009 1:58 PM EDT

In the absence of buying another minion or buying DBs, you should just pump up your AS as high as possible.

AdminShade May 14 2009 2:01 PM EDT

Oh, then I should note that when my NCB runs out, I'll be buying my second minion. Very slight chance I'll buy it very soon though.

So if your advice includes a second minion, go for it :)

Demigod May 14 2009 2:21 PM EDT

The cost to hire the expensive minion must be around 16 million. I hope you don't get buyer's remorse. :)

AdminShade May 14 2009 2:23 PM EDT

Enlist for $52,758,032

^_^

Demigod May 14 2009 2:24 PM EDT

::cough:: Um, I was close...

AdminShade May 14 2009 2:26 PM EDT

cheapo version would be 20 mil.

Also, perhaps something of these could be worth upgrading?

Angainor 'The Chain of Melkor' [0] (+12) Sell ($1,777,205)
Noldolante 'The Fall of the Noldor [12] (+28) Sell ($309,726)
Silmarils 'The Jewels of Feanor' [0] (+15) Sell ($2,867,195)
Mahanaxar 'The Ring of Doom' [0] (+10) Sell ($2,217,842)

Kefeck [Demonic Serenity] May 14 2009 2:31 PM EDT

Why you using boots of fortitude? Also i'd say hire the smaller minion, just my two cents.

AdminShade May 14 2009 2:41 PM EDT

Those boots boost the Magic Missile from my Familiar :)

I could try to use Displacement Boots instead, might be worth it but first want to try a pair for a bit before buying...

Kefeck [Demonic Serenity] May 14 2009 2:43 PM EDT

I was actually thinking go with spellboosters. :). They'll boost your DD spell about 3% and your ablative shield another percentage that i cant remember off the top of my head.

AdminShade May 14 2009 2:45 PM EDT

Spellboosters only boost my AS with a fixed percentage, I stopped using them and that only made me stronger.

Kefeck [Demonic Serenity] May 14 2009 2:47 PM EDT

Oh i see, i know there affecting your ablative shield with a negative percentage. But i guess the good out ways the bad in this situation.

On your new minion maybe try max dm?

Kefeck [Demonic Serenity] May 14 2009 2:48 PM EDT

meh nevermind i missed that you already had a nice sized dm. /me face palms :)..

AdminShade May 14 2009 2:49 PM EDT

/me laughs a bit:

I have the #14 DM in the game ;)

AdminShade May 14 2009 2:50 PM EDT

but, Since AS is usually trained much higher, would it be worth boosting it even further?

QBJohnnywas May 14 2009 2:55 PM EDT

Boost that evasion. ;)

AdminTitan [The Sky Forge] May 14 2009 5:08 PM EDT

Higher a new minion, put a corn, EGs, BoFs, AoL, BoE, EC and a MgS on your first minion. This minion should train just AS and evasion, possibly a little DM. Second minion equip SBs, NSCs or Altars, HoC, AoJ and your SF. You should get a nice boost to damage for awhile from the AoL and the BoFs on your first minion. If I completely screwed this up it's because I'm not thinking to well right now.

AdminTitan [The Sky Forge] May 14 2009 5:09 PM EDT

Shoot, I forgot you are wanting that DX on your SF too, sorry like I said, not thinking clearly, although you could put a small evasion on your second minion too, not sure how this would work out.

{WW]Nayab [Cult of the Valaraukar] May 14 2009 5:14 PM EDT

MgS is Mage Shield right?
if so wouldn't that reduce his AS to nothing?

AdminTitan [The Sky Forge] May 14 2009 5:18 PM EDT

Yeah, I thought I removed that, guess not. No mage shield.

AdminShade May 15 2009 1:01 AM EDT

Any more wild ideas?

lostling May 15 2009 1:16 AM EDT

If you want interesting I would say a decay mage using nsc and bof and aoi and mgs in the front or a decay mage with ga... Or a mini soc bl tank with an mh

Brakke Bres [Ow man] May 15 2009 5:29 AM EDT

The only reason I manage to beat you is the I cast .29 AMF on your familiar and you cast 0 amf on my mage. I'll bet your team could use AMF more then DM, since a SF doesn't feel the sting of GA that hard.

Ow and decay! use it!

AdminShade May 15 2009 11:56 AM EDT

lostling: MgS on decay mage would be casting nothing right?

henk: AMF instead of DM would indeed make me less vulnerable against mages, however my DM doesn't only dispel GA, which is nice, but also AS, which is even nicer.

AdminShade May 16 2009 6:51 AM EDT

Since a few people mentioned me boosting my Evasion:

Total Evasion: 106
