An idea hope that at least someone likes it. (in General)

It has come to my attention that people think the MsK sucks. I agree with that. so i have an idea for a new bow.
The bow of Chain Lightning.
Deals full damage to first minion and 50% damage reduction per minion afterwards. so i.e
Minion 1 receives full damage, minion 2 receives 50% damage, Minion 3 receives 25% damage, minion 4 receives 12.5% and minion 5 receives 6.25% and make it base 5 or 4.
just make it horribly expensive to upgrade and it will be fairer.
Suggestions, criticisms and complaints are all welcome.

Main problem i can recognize would be it vs GA.

I feel like this is filling up the SoD niche, except you need to train archery.

I feel if we're going to buff MsK we need to do so without losing its mage seeking quality.

Not a bad idea, but the SoD already has a similar effect.

well problem is we can't upgrade the MsK base damage because then it would be beating the ELB and the main point is that the seeker effect is only good against multi minion mage teams.

there are alot of those. In fact it's the majority.

It's a good way to deal with familiars.

Yet people still complain. Sounds like a case of people complaining because they can rather than because of a problem.

I think a little MsK ELB flexability (like salvage yard) would be better than a complete reworking of the MsK.

Also, the MSK can be forged while the ELB cannot. That makes a pretty big difference in my eyes, as it can be so much cheaper at the higher end...

With PL, the mage seeking abilities are not that great.

It is hard to actually kill a mage/familiar due to this skill.

Forgeability actually makes it cheaper on the low end. There's no way that I would have waited the six months that it would have taken to bring my bow up to where it is now without a decent replacement.
