that is the question, anyone have some numbers to claim one is better then the other?
since bloodlust doesn't work, i would go uc for now!
Actually BL should work with JKF. It is with Hal that it is very bad to use. I think it might work by the level though. So you actually need the proper amount of BL to get full effect.
hmm, still says this in the known issues:
"# Fixed most of AOJ. Left: Archery is weird, and Bloodlust still isn't working for JKF."
if this gets fixed, I think Jiggy might actually deal significant damage.
i have already retrained several times to test many of the jiggy changes. i would love to know if it is actually working though but it would be nice if someone else could test this one?
Ask Zoglog(T) if it looks like BL is working for him. He has a smaller JKF than me yet deals significantly more damage per hit, and since he only has EB for UC boosting gear his x mod is quite small, though he has quite a bit of str boosting gear.
Equipment with a +9 AoJ
A Pair of Elven Boots [10] (+20)
A Set of Tulkas' Gauntlets [6] (+17)
A Helm of Ecthelion [6] (+13)
A Buckler of Mandos [10] (+22)
A Jigorokano Familiar lvl 2,589,545
After removing all weapons from my tank I got this for melee 20 / 20 / 155,135
After unlearning BL Melee Hits / Blows / Avg Damage 17 / 17 / 82,719
It works perfectly
base or larger bloodlust?
i would assume that was against the same opponent and that opponent was a single minion or else all the minions had the same ac and gear on?
i only ask because it took me a while to realize on my prior bloodlust testing that many things could throw average damage off unless care was taken.
well BL is maxed for my minion which has over 3.25mill STR after bonuses, 2.1mill prior to bonuses so guaranteed it'll be max on Jiggy also.
Wasn't the same opponent but my list only sways around 10-15k either way on average damage anyway.
ok, biting the bullet once again to test the bloodlust, i just cannot wait to know!
results soon.
no skill base bl bloodlust at ratio
281,096 274,254 512,126
278,770 277,656 529,014
267,214 276,064 496,498
274,838 266,956 515,495
266,848 279,674 485,667
270,843 292,904 509,854
273,268 277,918 508,109 average damage
at the proper ratio i am getting about an 86 percent increase in damage.
it does appear to be working now, but you do have to train it to the proper ratio for the jiggy's strength to get the full effect. i am not sure if the .75 cap is in place though as i trained all that i had in uc rather than getting the perfect ratio and my bloodlust is higher than it needs to be.
Now I'm resisting the urge to play a JKF strat. ;)

Now, what about trying a BoM and/or TGs.
Less UC with the TG but perhaps more damage.
ok, now back to the op question of bloodlust or uc.
i think i would answer that as if your jiggy is your only damage dealer, go bloodlust. otherwise it is a battle of attrition and others can just outdamage jiggy.
if you have other damage dealers then the jiggy with uc might be good for mopping up after everyone else dies or living through hals and elbs.
your mileage may vary.
wowzers, that first hit with the soc bonus, when it flashes, and the doubled bloodlust effect can be massive. it brings little tears of joy to my eyes!
