Does it reduce it at all?
Is it just the + value that counts?
How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie-pop?

...it takes one a-two-hoo *crunch*!
All AC counts towards blocking RoBF damage, as well as possibly the mage shield.
<NightStrike> I can tell you that RBF damage is reduced by both base AC and plus AC
The mageshield does not effect the RoBF's damage at all.

All AC works on the RoBF definitely.
I didn't think the MgS worked on it, but some people have made recent claims in the forum that the MgS also works. I haven't seen any tests of this though.

With a +40 MgS
Dog burns from the flames surrounding Omg! (1261640)
Dog burns from the flames surrounding Omg! (1189637)
Without
Dog burns from the flames surrounding Omg! (1219583)
Dog burns from the flames surrounding Omg! (1339051)
Proven,
The MgS does not help vs the RBF.

I was under the impression that it did affect RoBF damage. I read a post somewhere saying that to overcome robf damage people were equiping a mgs along with lots of ac....
