which one of the 7 do you feel that you take on?
Pride is excessive belief in one's own abilities, that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity.
Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation.
Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.
Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.
Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath.
Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness.
Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.

I've pretty much mastered them all.
Does Pride count if I'm actually that awesome?
All of them, although in little doses. Except Greed.
''Except'' meaning NOT Greed, lol. That was not well-worded.
i am a lustful, proud glutton who gets very angry when others have nicer things until my greed makes me lazy.

I've worked my way through all of them in the last five minutes.

Pride- Definitely not, I tend to underestimate my worth. (I like the irony in this line, though I really mean it.)
Envy- yeah that works.
Gluttony- yep for sure, I live in the US.
Lust- don't consider that a sin.
Wrath- ehh hardly me.
Greed - I'd like to be rich yep, but I figure I'd share some of it.
Sloth - Does procrastination count? Been better about it recently.
Hmm, either Sloth or Envy, I guess currently Envy.

In other words
Status update!
Currently sinning: Envy
lol @ dudemus's post!
I think in ways all of us run the gambit in small ways.
Pride - In small ways of course we are all proud of something we say or do.
Envy - We are human we envy things all the time even if we know it will be impossible to acquire i.e. super stardom/millions of $ etc...
Gluttony - Like Cube said I'm an American nuff said.........lol
Lust - Since all I lust after is my wife I think I'm covered on that one ;)
Wrath - I've run this one a few times myself it is very tiring to keep up. In the end I find that it is usually not worth the outcome.
Greed - Who has not wanted that extra buck if they can get it, overcoming this feeling is hard but it can be done.
Sloth - I do not think there is one person in here that has said screw the alarm clock......lol
err hasn't* for the last one :)
"Sloth - I do not think there is one person in here that has said screw the alarm clock......lol "
PG warning.
This is a rather good thread.
Pride - In small ways of course we are all proud of something we say or do. I full agree with Zenai on that.
Envy - If someone came up to you with the hottest girl you knew, would you be jealous?
Gluttony - If i am Hungry, i will eat.
Lust - I say one word.........Puberty
Wrath - Don't like it when it happens but i definitely have this problem.
Greed - I pretty much choose how much i get paid each week, and i pay myself based on how much i think i deserve. Don't think that is greed when you choose $6 over $9.
Sloth - 50/50 spend way too much time playing games but i do my chores without complaining.

why not ask an admin to make a poll? :p
"gluttony": so more then 50% of the citizens in the USA are sinners?
Yes, Henk, much more than 50%. Notice the OP asks which one you take on, and not whether or not you bear any of these characteristics.
I think these are worded interestingly. For example, the mention of Pride getting in the way of an individual's recognition of the grace of God. That's really a key point; it's not necessarily an issue of overestimation of one's own qualities and abilities, but of telling oneself that one is morally self-sufficient, which no one is. This is exemplified by comments such as "I don't consider that a sin," or "Who doesn't?" in the sense that comments like these are designed to sort of circumvent any real admission of guilt, even though they don't really sound like comments that would define a braggart.
Of the 7, probably greed is my worst one. After school, though, I'll come back here and admit to the other 6. :)
