I was hoping it would be good

i heard it sucked, there criticisms didn't seem to apply to a transformers movie though. Saturday - i watch it:)

saw it, graphics are superb, story perhaps a bit less, but hey every boy who watched the old series will love it. Girls also even I guess :)

Seen it. The first movie left me with a feeling of childish glee walking out at the end. The second had people walk out in the middle as I looked back. If you thought killing the black-bot in number was racist, they doubled that. Bad stereotypes might be the reason they left. Left at the credits feeling an equal mix of entertained and disappointed. If you're going to watch this, spend the extra for IMAX screening.

I think I'll pass: 22% on RottenTomatoes, and I haven't seen the first one anyway.

And I'm not being pious listening to reviewers, RT is just that awesome.

You managed to get past her club thumb?

ResistanZ2 [The Knighthood] June 26 2009 5:04 AM EDT

Transformers 2 would be sweet if they didn't devote so much time to stupid teen drama bullstuff.... and more robots messin' each other up.

Colonel Custard [The Knighthood] June 26 2009 12:39 PM EDT

I enjoyed the movie. Everything they did that was supposed to represent any aspect of real life (college, the geography of the Sinai Peninsula) was completely inaccurate. It's one of the best comedies you'll ever see if you're willing to go into it laughing at these things.

I thought it was almost as good as the first. If you liked the first one, you are more than likely going to like the second.

Don't know how it got 22% on rotten tomatoes. I can't remember the last time I looked up a movie and it had gotten a good review on RT.

I'm waiting until next week, it's too difficult to get tickets..

Can't be bothered with rotten tomatoes rating, because they all seems messed up.

I mean just look at the rating, night at the museum 2 is better than transformers 2, better than terminator salvation ? Me and most of my friends thought that night at the museum 2 was one of the worst comedy for this year. and I tell you that we're a comedy genre lover.

I thought that IMDB is actually better recently in terms of rating.

RT and those sites are a good screener to get an idea.. but there have been some gems of a movie that got blasted on that site. I recently watched Jamie Kennedy's documentary movie "Heckler" and it really opened up my eyes up to the reality of those "critic" sites... It's worth it to watch.
