i have some other questions as well if you have one. can you edit google docs spreadsheets? does google calendar work well? what do you think so far?

dude, do a Google search for "palm pre google docs" and a bunch of links come right up in regards to the Pre's googleability. Looks promising, and I imagine it will only get better...

yeah, i spent some time reading last night with some user reviews. some said it worked well while others say differently. i tend to trust my fellow cbers word more than the random blogger or reviewer, at least when it comes to smartphones! ; )

it would be nice to know if it worked on cb though, at least as well as the treos or centros.

I'm pretty sure Ranger had something like a Treo (or someone did) before getting an iPhone...? Not sure how well it worked...

I had a Treo but never used Google Docs.

I then went to a Windows mobile phone, one made by HTC and then migrated to the iPhone.

Nothing beats the iPhone IMO.

i have had 3 treos so far. the pre though is a totally new os as well as web browser.

it has some really impressive features, but i use it for my business and need to make sure i can go over to it fully before incurring the business expense.

the cb is not a killer, but i would really love to know if it actually works better than with the treos.

if anyone else is wondering, i bought one and it works great on cb. the browser is much more cb friendly than the treos.

The Samsung Omnia works just as well if not better than the iPhone 3G on CB and many other applications. It's Touch and Tap & Stylus Features as well as the Mini Opera & IE Mobile Browsers make it more diverse, on the other phones I'm not sure. The iPhone though is more popular so therefore it gets more attention and also more applications /programs made for it *shrugs* C'est La Vive Mon Amie :D
