How much HP does 'The' have?

Obviously The has 20 hp... so in the case of ga (0) it just means there wasn't enough life to have GA deal backlash damage for the damage done.

GA's backlash damage is related to the life of the caster of the GA?

GA's backlash is relative to damage actually done. If you hit for 211k and kill 20 HP, then you've done 20 damage. Though with any GA what-so-ever still in play, you shoulda been able to cover the 20 damage with the full 60% backlash of 12...
