quick question on how AMF return is based. if i cast AMF for 1.00 how is the damage return it gives to a minion that casts decay calculated?
i think from wiki AMF EFFECT * 0.5 * HP REMAINING meaning amf on decay only will not kill that minion i'm pretty sure
The AMF return is at .4 of what the original spell cast for. So it ends up being AMF effect* .4* .5* HP remaining. So you decay them back but at a slower rate than they would if you had no AMF.

If a minion with low HP cast decay onto a large HP minion, does the backlash from perfect AMF do .4 of the larger minion's HP or .4 of the smaller casting minions' HP?
AMF uses the caster of the DD spell's HP

If AMF is cast at 1.0, you decay mage will lose 1/2 his hp per decay cast.
However he will never die just from AMF decay backlash.

AMF only does .4 of the maximum damage, which for Decay is half hp
So 20%
IIRC, Decay doesn't have the 0.4 modifier the other spells do. But it was ages since I tested this.

Ray cast Ablative Shield on all friendly Minions (44363)
Seoter cast Antimagic Field on Ken (1.00)
Ken takes damage from his own Decay (21649)!
19.999%
I ain't wrong.
thanks guys that clears up some of the "funny" things i was seeing ;8^)
